November 16, 200817 yr o.k. so i live forever away from Kings Island (down in grant county, kentucky), and yesterday me and my family were driving past the walfle house, when i noticed something strange, thats when i reallized that there was a 18 wheeler parked in the parking lot with 3 peices of lavenderish colored track, so could this be track going down to sea world? i do have pics on my cell phone, but i don't have a cable to download them to my computer, and i don't have internet on my phone.
November 16, 200817 yr Hey do you have texting on you phone. If you do you can text the pics to you email just like you would to another phone. I do it alot. Hope this helps.
November 16, 200817 yr Author Do you know what kind of track it is? B&M, Intamin, etc. i took a pic of the scan lable, and under customer it said BM-LCG08, so does the bm mean b&m?
November 16, 200817 yr Was it B&M box track (Diamondback) or Intamin tri-(MF) or quad-track (TTD), or something else?
November 16, 200817 yr Author Was it B&M box track (Diamondback) or Intamin tri-(MF) or quad-track (TTD), or something else? yea, it looked alot like Diamondbacks
November 16, 200817 yr B&M Track comes in many Sizes and Shapes. What shape did it look like? Diver? Flyer? Hyper? Looper? I only ask because there are rumors of Divers and flyers and everything else out there.
November 16, 200817 yr Author to me it looked like Diamondback's track, just a different color. and from the pics you just posted, flying coaster track and a hyper coasters track look identical.
November 16, 200817 yr Lavender you say? Hmm, I really don't know where that would be going. If it looked more blue-ish, then yes, it probably was Manta track getting ready to head down to Florida.
November 16, 200817 yr Author Lavender you say? Hmm, I really don't know where that would be going. If it looked more blue-ish, then yes, it probably was Manta track getting ready to head down to Florida. yea, it was like a more blueish lavender, and i can't get my phone to connect to the sprint network so i will try again later to post the picture of it.
November 16, 200817 yr I think that "BM" does mean B&M and "LCG08" is the track number. LCG prolly means the location or ride or something like that then 08 means where the piece goes in the assembly. I know Diamondback uses a system like this and because they are both from B&M they might use the same classification system. If the manufacture of the track is North then it prolly is going to sea world. P.S. try to send those pics through a txt msg to your email and post them.
November 16, 200817 yr If it said BM it's B&M. Really are you familiar with the printed labels they use?
November 16, 200817 yr Manta track: http://www.rcdb.com/ig4190.htm?picture=6 http://www.rcdb.com/ig4190.htm?picture=10
November 16, 200817 yr Author Manta track: http://www.rcdb.com/ig4190.htm?picture=6 http://www.rcdb.com/ig4190.htm?picture=10 the track i saw had more of a purpleish color than those pictures showed.
November 16, 200817 yr Any chance it was this color: http://www.rcdb.com/ig283.htm?picture=1 http://www.rcdb.com/ig283.htm?picture=3
November 16, 200817 yr If it said BM it's B&M. Really are you familiar with the printed labels they use? I can assume BM means B&M. This pic is kinda old, but same idea. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3244.htm?picture=6
November 16, 200817 yr So where's the BM in that label you posted, BEAST1979? Well? Also, if you ain't learned yet, life will teach you what often happens when you assume....
November 17, 200817 yr Who said it is scheduled for opening in 2009? How many parks have track delivered a year in advance?
November 17, 200817 yr Author o.k. i just looked at the pictures again and the track was more blue, i just thought it was lavender because it was cloudy from it raining, and the track was parked in the shade. so, sorry.
November 17, 200817 yr Who said it is scheduled for opening in 2009? How many parks have track delivered a year in advance? Who is to say this has happened or will never happen in the future?
November 17, 200817 yr Uh, to start with Maverick Man (though at least some pieces had to be delivered later for Maverick, as there was an unplanned change....)
November 23, 200817 yr There was a Manta construction tour last week and DoingFlorida.com but up a video of that tour and I thought some of you would enjoy seeing the video. Manta does not look like anything super big but they are really going for the special effects. About 1:45 in to the video they tell about the special effects and artistry that they are doing to give the riders and non riders an enjoyable experience on and off the ride. I love theme and I am excited to include Sea World in our vacation plans next year.
