IF I RECALL that ride 2 years ago had a sign saying it did have those effects Quote
Guest rcfreak339 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 My prediction for the 2010 season: -New Paint for Flight Deck plus mist for fog. -New movie Action Theater -All effects will work on BL:SC Quote
goofywdw Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Where was there fog on Flight Deck? I just moved back to the area this fall after being away for 3 years, was it during then when it had fog? I also never rode BL:SC with all of the effects. That would be nice to see too. Quote
Captain Picard Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 We was told at KIC day that Action Theater will now be a permanent Haunt attraction. Quote

The eery mist from dry ice rose up from the concrete floor below the trains in the station, and did so until recent years...it stopped perhaps four or five years ago. . . Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Interesting, I guess it stopped due to...well of course funds, but as for the lighting where was that at? Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 That was also in the station, and to a limited extent, sometimes in the queue house under the station (which is no longer used). Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 That was also in the station, and to a limited extent, sometimes in the queue house under the station (which is no longer used). I remember the lower level queue. Are all those props stil there? Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Last time I was there, they were....but not in the greatest of shape.... Quote
Vortex Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 We was told at KIC day that Action Theater will now be a permanent Haunt attraction. Will Action Theater return for 2010 or is something else going on in that area? You think they want to have as many shows open to the public that are in doors. Quote
Coney Islander Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Hopefully. They will probably add a new 3D ride but I have no idea what. I don't see why they would leave such a nice theater empty. Quote

Coney Islander Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 That would be neat, but renovation of the building would be way too costly and the theater is pretty nice. I foresee them changing the Schooby Doo and the Haunted Castle soon. You know, 2013 will be its tenth year anniversary. Quote
Cory Butcher Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I foresee them changing the Schooby Doo and the Haunted Castle soon. How long will it be till its tenth anniversary? Are you saying that things should be changed (or removed) when they near or exceed their 10 year anniversary? Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Well they have every year since, correct? Quote
CoastersRZ Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Actually no. It has been ABOUT every ten years. Original Enchanted Voyage opened in 1972. Smurf`s Ehcanted Voyage opened in 1984. Phantom Theater opened in 1992. Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle opened in 2003. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Here is what my idea for Flight Deck or Top Gun. What it should have been. It should have been an intamin type inverted coaster. Should have had a small mach up of what would be an aircraft carrier with no roof on the station. The train would then launch off the runway like a real airplane would. It would then do its course flying threw tight and quick turns and inversions. Quote
DropZone99 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 For 2010 I'd love to just see Top Gun get a paint job, Maybe a new slide for Boomerang Bay, and most of all... Shorter waits for SOB and Diamondback! Quote
