Which do you like better White Water Canyon or Congo Falls? I don't like either one better than the other. They are both some of my favorite rides!

In terms of wating, Congo Falls. It's always a walk on. As for thrill factor, I think they are about the same.

Id perfer Congo better that WWC. Not just because I worked that ride for 2 years, but because i dont like to get completely soaked, and on Congo if you sit in the right row, then you wont get as wet.

If its like flaming hot I like WWC better. If its around 85-90 than I like COngo better. I don't like getting soaked either.

I prefer Amazon er, Congo Falls. It's quick and to the point. Lets also not forget it has the best pop of airtime in the park!

As far as waiting on line is concerned - CONGO FALLS is the best because we seldom wait more than 1 minute, where as I have waited as long as 1 hour for White Water Canyon. And in terms of quality - WWC offers a longer and more exciting ride.

Really, Im not a fan of water rides, but when I do go on them, I like to get drenched, therefore I like WWC better.

Speaking for myself and I am unanimous in this, I like Congo Falls slightly better. It is fun to see 20 people get soaked at one time and watch the people on the obsevation deck get drenched. Even though I've worked on Congo for 4 seasons and have worked at WWC on a couple of occasions, I prefer Congo Falls. The only time I have seen Congo with a wait was last season. It was hotter than heck and we had an hour wait with all queues open. Unbelieveable sight! As for working the ride, I will take Congo due to the shade but for those that have worked it must keep in mind that it does get a little nippy down there at times and it has a great microphone. Ah yes, another year of Congo Falls and Water Sentry. Can't wait.

I don't know. Vortex's first drop in the back seat has pretty darn good airtime. Practically the whole way down the drop.

As for which one I prefer...hmmm....I'll have to go with WWC.

I would have to go with White Water Canyon. Congo falls is too short. You're up, you're down, you're done. Though it would be much more enjoyable if it was the Congo Falls on Viagra like Snake River Falls at CP, that one gets you so wet it has to be good.... for 6 times in a row on a 70* day after slight drizzle. Ok I'm crazy.

I like WWC better, its longer, and more exciting. Plus this should be in the polls section.

In my opinion, WWC is much better, yeah the lines are longer but it's worth the wait. Was once on this with some foreign speaking gentlemen and it was great seeing them soaked with their cameras and all. They didn't have any idea what they were getting themselves into. On a hot day this is the best. CF is a good place to go and stand on the bridge when you're not near any other water sources to cool you off when it's really hot. But too short of a ride for me.

Racers have good air time, but not like the first drop on Vortex. Congo could probably break a butt bone. It's almost painful, but fun, goign down that drop.

Like Sparky said, Congo just gets to the point, if your looking for a quick soak on a hot summer day, Congo Falls is the ride to ride. You have the splash when you smack the water coming off the slide, then the geysers and if that doesnt work, just stand on the bridge and wait for a boats splash. Its a guarenteed soak fest! And Cletus I agree, that mic is the best, and it does get very very cold down there once fall hits!

Yea, Congo gives you more of a mix of damp and wet. On WWC it is an almost certain soak.

Its a certain soak at Congo if you stand on the bridge. And when your on the ride, there are certain spots that get u wet more than others. Try riding with a full boat and you'll see if it gets you a little "DAMP".

A full boat does get you damp. I also agree if you stand on the bridge it is an almost certain soak. Although I have seen the water not even hit the bridge when there was an empty boat.

Yea, your right on that Sparky, the more I think about it the wetter it seems to me. I was soaked on BAFFD with my mom.

I enjoy WWC more because the ride is longer then CF, WWC is also at some point more exciting that CF becuase of the unexpected water blasts that shoot from the water!! The bad part of WWC is that it isn't as fast or high as CF.

Still WWC get my vote!!

Well I admit I am a fellow AYBS fan; Are You Being Served for you curious ones. Regardless of what Sparky thinks and says, I like Jackie Chan movies but that doesn't necessarily make me a Jackie Chan lover. Sparky will get his beating sometime this season but it will come unexpected. However, Congo is still a great ride and has had it fine share of moments in the sun. Hope to see you at the falls.

Well I dont have to many favorites in rides but I prefer Congo (Amazon) Falls over WWC because of the Air Time, Water Soaking, and walk on status! Todays My Birthday!

When you get off of WWC, its a weird feeling, especially back in the woods, walking back. It's usually breezy, and it feels weird. I have to be "ready" for WWC. CF is more of a "I think i'll ride that," its not like I go from FOF to get there, just to ride it. WWC takes a long time to get to te boats. I don't like that.

Yea, it is weird when you walk off of WWC, because it is about a 1/4 mile walk back through woods which are usually dusky (is that a word?) and cool even when it's about 100 outside.

Hey I think dusky sounds good, like dusk the time of day before susnet, when the sun is a little low in the sky, and there is a little less light. That is definitely a good description of the walkback through the woods to WWC.

That exit way walk is long, sure glad thats one ride employees dont have to go down the exit to get to, it would take to long. Although most sends go that way becasue they dont know the employee shortcut which only takes about a minute and a half to get to from rivertown.
