There are new trains but the ride structure itself has been relocated.

Nope, its a transplant, but it did get brand new Vekoma trains.

I wouldn't pay more than park admission for the first public ride on anything, however I would pay for an actual seat to put in my home if I had the money to spare. I would also like to have a Log from the Flume to make into a decorative bed.

Oh I thought they were going to pay me to ride it? That's pretty much the only way I'll get on a standard Boomerang again, OUCH!

Maybe the new trains will make the ride more comfortable.
