BoddaH1994 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend is fast approaching! We hope to see as many of you there during the weekend of May 9th and 10th as possible. It'll be a great opportunity to put some names to some faces and have some good 'ol fashion Kings Island fun. Please remember that you must have been a KICentral member before February 1st, 2009 in order to attender under the KICentral name. Also, KICentral members who wish to bring a guest may bring one (1) guest but they must purchase a ticket for them for $47.99, regardless of whether or not they have a season pass if they wish for their guests to participate. Please note that guest's tickets must be purchased at the time of the KICentral member's registration. Remember that ALL who wish to participate must be registered before May 6th. The park will have a list of KICentral (and other accredited groups) members that have registered. There will be no on-site registration. ALL guests must present their e-ticket at the time of registration. No exceptions. We hope to see you there! Click here to visit the official Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend site! Quote
Oldiesmann Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Shouldn't this be a sticky topic so it doesn't get buried? Quote
cedarAfairs Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Not if we BUMP it! Looking forward to all the exclusive ride time! Its going to be one unforgettable weekend! Quote
SOBFOF Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Quick question: I thought people said you can be a member on OR before February 1st. Is this correct? I've heard yes and no. I need to be positive just in case I need to register for one of my accounts to other coaster enthusiast sites. Quote
Oldiesmann Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Officially, it says "before", but you should call the park to confirm this. Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Since I do not have a season pass I went ahead and purchased my ticket also. I just assumed that's what we were supposed to do. Was I correct? Quote
Coaster Kid Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 i wish i could go but thts wht i get for letting my freind borrow my labtop and getting a virus on it lol Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Quick question: I thought people said you can be a member on OR before February 1st. Is this correct? I've heard yes and no. I need to be positive just in case I need to register for one of my accounts to other coaster enthusiast sites. The official site now says by February 1, which would include that day. Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 i wish i could go but thts wht i get for letting my freind borrow my labtop and getting a virus on it lol What does that have do with you being able to go? Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Probably a parent who is now disciplining the user for lending out his stuff...which got damaged in the process? Quote
Vortex Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Where is says Card/Membership # (if applicable): should I put my screen name I have? Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) No. In your case you should put 269.... Edited April 29, 2009 by The Interpreter Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Oops I put my username in that box. Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I am sure many people did. Worry not. Take a print screen of your member number... Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 No -- put your username in the box. Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Really? That's not what Dane posted originally... Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Is there a way yet to make sure that we are registered? Could we call the park to find out? Quote
adventure2007 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) I put my username in the box like we are suppose to I guess I follow directions well. lol lol Edited April 29, 2009 by adventure2007 Quote
gabelogan99 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 No -- put your username in the box. Wow this is ridiculous. Do you know how many people are going to have to re-register if you have to put in your user name instead of your member number? Afterall...it asks for a number!!! Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Not to mention that Dane told people to put their user number in the box and even told them exactly how to get that number on this very website. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I doubt people will have to re-register. It'll probably be sorted out with the screen names and member numbers. Quote
SamDiZZLe3361 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I put my number... If I have to re-register what happens to the guest I already registered??? A number would make more sense I think. Quote
gabelogan99 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 See, to me I actually think it would make more sense to put the user name in the box because if someone's searching on here to make sure you're a member they can't do it by your member number I don't believe--they have to search by your user name. Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 This all could have been avoided had the registration form actually said what it was that was being requested. It asks for member number. Why would you think that meant anything else? Sigh. Quote
SamDiZZLe3361 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Terpy has a point... And why would they give us a member number if it has no form of use... I'm so confused Quote
G-Force Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Great, now I'm confused! I put my user number and am still waiting to hear how I should go about solving this. Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I put my username and I already payed for both my guest and my ticket. This is really confusing. Quote
