You guys will prob laugh at me But i like Hanna-Barbera land and Nick Central i am a big fan a themed kiddie areas...and i like being in the light of my ChildHood..iam HUGE cartoon Buff as well!...But iam mostly in Coney mall and HBland,NickCentral,Rivertown....i dont really go to Action Zone much!

Gosh.....that's such a tough question. I'll go with Rivertown because:

1. The Beast is my favorite ride.

2. White Water Canyon is my wife's favorite ride.

3. Kings Island & Miami Valley Valley Railroad is very enjoyable after a meal.

4. The Back Porch Stage usually offers Country music concerts.

Action Zone may be my favorite place at Kings Island but my favorite ride is in river town. (white water Canyon) cool.gif

Rivertown because of The Beast! smile.gif But i like HBL and nick cnetral 2 i like to take my lil brothers there...plus i Like the new Scooby Ride

Coney Mall is awesome, but I don't like seeing those ugly pole barns and

cruddy old white fences when I ride The Racer or walk to FOF. Hey PKI, how about tear down that crap and build a huge coaster right there with a ton of trees around it. And yes, I understand the need for the pole barns, it just for some strange reason bugs me. But, my favorite area is Rivertown, hands down. TR:TR is the most thrilling dark ride anywhere, The Beast is the best coaster anywhere, and White Water Canyon is the best water ride in the park. And the woods make a very peaceful setting.

I would go with Rivertown, mainly because everything isn't so "up-front" as the rest of the park. Everything is hidden. You can't see a single ride from where the entrance is located, and I like that. Also, RyanA (and anyone else who mentions this), it is very difficult to build rides and put a large tree population close by the track or bodie of the ride. Trees that would acually look good for themeing (i.e. pine trees, oaks) take years to grow. You just can't do it. Think of SoB. (sorry for the outburst)

I like Coney Mall the best.

There is a poll in the Polls Section on this very subject.

Rivertown. I like this section because I like the laid back atmosphere. In the Action Zone, its all hustle and bustle. But in Rivertown, its relaxed, good atmosphere to work and play.

Rivertown's atmosphere is nice. Much better than Action Zone's in my opinion. I think I only like Action Zone because that is were the rides I like are. I think Action Zone would be better if there wasn't a giant gap in the middle. I think that big "hole" should be filled with something.

I know its off topic but , I am going to go to the park this Saturday and I wondered if anyone had an idea if TR:TR would actually be open? has someone already posted wether or not it would be? I would really like to know before I go, so I don't get my hopes up. ( also, this is a little mean but, if you are going to answer "we anticipate it will be open" then don't bother. Just tell me if they have said wether or not it will be open, or even if they have a good idea about it, that would be great) smile.gif

I-N-Raider Your right it is off topic this is the 4th time this has been brought up in as many days, thus making it old.

I am not asking what the deal was with it. Know the difference. I am asking if they plan on it being open. It actuallly has very little to do with those previous topics which were shut down for good reason. Now just please answer my question if you can, does the park plan on TR:TR being open this Saturday?

Does PKI plan on opening it yes. Will that go as planned maybe? if The Beast fall over and there is no one there to here it does it make a sound?

Does that help?

Anywho My area of choice is that spot between HB and international cause you can catch a nap alot of the time cause its so quiet.

Eye-in-raider, just show up to the park. If TR is open, its open. If not, then you have 60+ (I forget the exact number) other rides and attractions that you can attend. I dont think you will die for not riding one ride.

Oh and if you are gonna respond "Its my favorite" or some BS like that, SOB is my favorite, but I dont cry when its down. I go to another ride.

My favorite area would have to be Rivertown. It has a more adventurous and immersive feel to it. I like that in a theme park. Total immersia.

Whoa dude, lets chill out here. He just asked a simple question. He wants to know if that ride is going to be open. That is great because it is an attraction. It attracts the people and apparently it is attracting him to come to the park. Why would you want to go to a park when your favorite ride isn't going to be open? It is pointless.

Am I off topic, yes, but I don't see what the matter is because this is a PKI board and we are discussing PKI. Are we not?

Edited by Solid Snake

Yeah. I agree. I don't go for the atmosphere (although PKI's is wonderful smile.gif )

I go to ride my favorite. I Now know that they have every plan on it being open and have been testing it all week with little to no bumps. So thats always good. If its open (i'll call the park on Saturday) I'll be there on Saturday. You guys might see me! (not that anyone here would want to. wink.gif ) (lol) But, if its open, then I will definetly be there. Like Solid Snake said, I have already been to the park and rode everything else (I went opening day) So, if my favorite not open, then why bother. I can go and do other things outside of the park that I enjoy until it is. smile.gif

update: (not that anyone would care) but, I just called again and had them directly phone the ride operators for TR:TR. The ride is open and has been running perfectly all morning. They do not anticipate any more closures of it until this weekend is over. So there it is, TR is up and runing perfectly. Lara and guests are finally Tomb Raiding again!

I think my favorite part of the park is International Street. It's just very relaxing. If I have to pick a ride section, then it's Rivertown...lots of trees in that area, plus Wings restaurant.

My favirote area is coney mall you have a chose of The Racer and all those flat rides,Flight of Fear and the best arcade when you need a break. Eventhough it is not considredto be in coney mall The Vortex is right there.

Favorite area with rides is Coney Mall. Something about it today while walking through there just made me feel good.

Though, all time favorite is International Street. I love the fountains and the music and the sound of laughter and screams all around. The music is just calming. I make sure to walk up or down the street any time i go into or out of the park instead of through the side entrances to the main park.
