May 13, 200917 yr I am going to KI soon and i found out i am going on a trills and thrills day...how busy are those days in May?
May 13, 200917 yr I've never heard of such event, but it depends what day you go and the weather conditions of that day to give an accurate estimation.
May 13, 200917 yr If you mean the event this Saturday, given that it is the same day as Music In The Parks, expect a large crowd....unless, of course, it pours down rain. Then, many may leave....

May 13, 200917 yr The current NWS forecast for Mason, Ohio: Saturday Showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the mid 70s. Chance of rain 70 percent. Be aware that thunderstorms will shut down virtually all the rides for the duration of the storms....
May 13, 200917 yr Besides FOF and Crypt! Looks like you will be marathoning FOF that day! Cra... I mean Crypt will more and likely be closed.
May 13, 200917 yr Oh, yeah? Terpy, who found out at Six Flags New Orleans that not only can it rain all day, it can rain all of three days IN A ROW...and this was before the hurricane...and who found out the same at Conneaut Lake Park in Pennsylvania once...
May 13, 200917 yr skaterboy22101 sure is skating on thin ice with Terpy tonight! I sure hope Terpy is proud of this one!
May 13, 200917 yr FoF and Crypt can shut down due to weather as well, particularly if there's a lot of lightning. I know when I worked there in 2005, FoF did shut down for weather-related reasons at least once because I heard it over the managers' radios.
May 13, 200917 yr What is the difference between Trills & Thrills and then Music in the Parks? Also, FOF and Crypt would shut down if starts storming too bad, I would imagine. They are big, metal building and lightning is electricity. Guess what attracts electricity? Metal. I wouldn't want to be on one of those rides when it's storming too bad.
