Beast1979
Much how people refer to Revolution at SFMM as the first true looping coaster And yet, it still is not the first successful coaster with an inversion! That would be Corkscrew at Knotts Berry Farm built in 1975 (one year before Revolution), now Corkscrew at Silverwood in Idaho.
Captain Nemo
Funny how I expected everyone to understand my comment on SOB. Instead of disputing why not get the BIG idea?
Beast1979
I was only saying that although many people regard it as the first looping coaster, many don't know Corkscrew was the first successful coaster with an inversion.
teenageninja
Nemo, as we all know people like to correct you as much as possible on here, even if it is a minor detail. Regardless, I've heard nothing but bad things about the ride.
HTCO
When I got in line for the first time since the programing changed, there were people telling me and others to get out of line. Here's a few things I heard: "Turn around! It's not worth it!" "This is stupid!" "That tickled my stomach" "Stupid Cedar Fair!" "KNOCK IT DOWN!".. There was many more but I will stop. Anyone else in favor of replacing the claptrap with a eurofighter?!

The Interpreter
Son of Beast was not first looping wooden coaster because there were looping wooden coaster in early 1950's Here the proof http://rcdb.com/id2512.htm http://rcdb.com/id2336.htm http://rcdb.com/id2626.htm http://rcdb.com/id1780.htm Uh, there were wooden looping coasters long, long before then, including in Columbus and Louisville. Just yesterday, a post card of one in Columbus was posted here! http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=298288
StalkerChick
Bring on the crazy dark wild mouse! I'm up for that one!!! Keep the building remove the ride! That building is perfect for another ride. Please no! I've been waiting so long for the day that eyesore is gone! The crypt should be given its own crypt far away from Kings Island! Dare-To-Fly always has a vacancy in his pit in Siberia. ROFLMAO!!! Am I the only person on here that thought when TR:TR operated in 2002 with all of the special effects working correctly and theming intact, it was unbelievably awesome????? No. I LOVED TR:TR and for anyone that knows me, knows i HATE spinny rides... heck i can't even look at the swings, or even Delirium for that matter >.< But I absolutely loved TR for the theming and the fun of it. I rode it last year on closing day... hated it... was way too much for me, but could see the fun if someone liked it. But hey now that its a kiddy ride i may ride it! lol

I always thought SOB was the only looping wooded coaster... ever. Also, some of those coasters are from the early 1900s, even 1895, not just the 1950s . The Interpreter
It was billed as the only looping wooden roller coaster on the planet...but never as the first....

I thought it was great as well! Sadly, I always had to put my glasses in the pouch in front of me, so I didn't get to see all the effects functioning. HTCO
^ Oh sorry, The "Eurofighter!?!?!" was refered to be a comment along the lines of, the crypt should go bye bye, and a eurofighter in its place. As I have stated many times in this thread.
