KIfan73
Maybe, in light of what has been stated many times in these forums, some management types got together and instituted some policy.
standbyme
HTCO, Thanks for posting this story...it IS nice to know that the op cared enough to do that. <(And I just noticed that this is/was my Anti-Christ post!)
footballfreak
All I know is that The Beast crew is probably the best crew when you want a line jumper and other things taken care of. I have seen them escort many people out because they were line jumping and doing other inapproriate things. An example was on opening day I saw a ride op taking about 15 teenagers down the emergency exit because they where line jumping. I was very happy to see this happen. Amber
I agree, The Beast crew are amazing. The are very entertaining and do not put up with most of the BS. One night while the fireworks were going off, my 8yr old daughter and I were in line for the second seat so we could not see the fireworks. A blonde female ride op gave a very animated description of each firework going off. It was hilarious and my daughter loved her enthusiasm. McSalsa
Gotta love that Beast crew! Part of the reason the ride is so good.
McSalsa
BTW, the chants and cheers they do before the ride really get you pumped up. "Are you ready to ride the longest wooden roller coaster in the world?" and "Are you ready to ride the best ride in the park?", and finally "Enjoy your ride...on The Beast!!!". Classic. Aside from them, only the Diamondback and Racer crews even attempted to pump up the crowd like this the day I went.
The Interpreter
Great! And that was very good of you to let GR know!
I_heart_pki
Friendly ride ops make the whole experience sooo much better!
The Interpreter
When they do, make their day, too. Let GR know. We should be as free with our praise as we are with our constructive criticism!
Oldiesmann
I think Beast is best when they have all the effects in the station turned on. The funniest part for me was a female ride op singing "If you want to ride The Beast, clap your hands ... If you wanna ride The Beast, because it's really neat ...". Unfortunately most of the guests in the station seemed to be rather un-enthusiastic that day.
Hoeter
I would like to give kudos to The Beast crew as well. I agree that they are one of the most enthusiastic crews in the entire park. "Whether you are in the front of the train or in the caboose, The Beast is on the loose!"
Coaster Kid
Diamondbacks crew who works the test seat is also good. They noticed about 5 line jumpers and while a cop was walking past had gotten the cops attention and had the cop take care of them. I said thank you becasue they would have cut infront of me in the SRL.
Diamondback FOF
When they do, make their day, too. Let GR know. We should be as free with our praise as we are with our constructive criticism! It's like a hospital commercial I see on television (I believe it is for Mercy Hospital). When a nurse's job is done, it goes unnoticed. When the nurse is gone (or the work is not done, or something to that effect), the work is greatly missed. When ride ops do their job, it's unnoticed. When they don't do their job, it's missed and we complain and criticize.
dare-to-fly
Sounds like you're all as complementary of Beast's crew as I am. I'll be sure to pass that along, as I'm there frequently. 103 rides this season and counting!

I'll be sure to pass that along, as I'm there frequently. 103 rides this season and counting! Complementary? As in going with, fitting in and being a part of? From an English teacher? Terpy, who just HAD to (and who is complementary to most ride crews, especially when he can ride!)
dare-to-fly
Of course you had to. How about I just say, it seems that those who have posted in this thread have been very pleased with the level of enthusiasm The Beast's crew.
