kjkjkj
I'm just curious about how many people would care if The Crypt is removed. This is just for fun!
LongliveKingsCobra
in the state it is in now, it's like a wounded horse during the Durby, just euthinise(sp?) it and call it a day
FOFreak
I vote to get rid of it. Its not very good, and could be replaced with better.
Beast79
What Crypt didn't they already take it out!
The Interpreter
There are those who say they already buried Tomb Raider: The Ride and put it in a crypt. Wasn't it under the old owner that all the thrills were paramount?
Coaster Kid
I think they should get rid of it and put in a ride like Demon Drop at CP.
The Interpreter
Good Luck. Demon Drop is the last of its kind in the USA and is currently for sale, as it has been for quite some time. Though I love Demon Drop, you are very unlikely to see a new one installed anywhere in America.
Coaster Kid
I would buy it if I had alot of money.
KI Kevin
If they don't reprogram it to make it a better ride, then they can take it out for all I care. PS: Coaster Kid, your ride list is ridiculous
Thrill_Biscuit
Maybe it can enjoy new life with the enclosure removed. The top spin is an impressive-looking ride, and might draw more thrill seekers from the midway.
kjkjkj
I read somewhere that it wouldn't be able to operate with the structure removed. I'm not sure if that's true though. Even if the structure were to be removed, I think the line would be even smaller if it kept it's current program, people would actually see how bad it is before they get in line! Fear the Four
I wish they would get rid of it.
Thrill_Biscuit
They might call it... a "Ferris Wheel"!
HTCO
^ Why not! Thats what I call it now . I voted, get rid of it. I really don't see this ride being around much longer.
TheCryptRaider
I voted to get rid of it. It was fun, but its barely even a thrill ride any more.
Coney Islander
I would like them to keep it, but they better fix up the theming. I just went to Kings Island for the first time all year yesterday and I could tell they did add lighting effects and a bit of scenery but really they can do better. P.S. Diamondback was sweet
Cormaster
I really don't care if they remove it now. its not going to break my heart one bit! Cedar Fair took what was an awesome ride, and neutered it, and now its just a piece ol' crap! Good Riddance!!
Tuskin
Im sensing a lot of hostility from you cormaster lol I also dont care if they remove it, although it was fun at times I still cannot get through the whole smashing of the you know what if your a guy, sure you can put your feet up and try to prevent it, but sometimes that just does not work. Then again I guess every top spin would be the same way..
gigacoaster2k
I voted to get rid of it. If it's not the old program, I don't want to ride it. I believe I am joining a growing crowd with that statement.
faeriewench
They can get rid of it. I hated Tomb raider and I hate the ride now. It was great last year.
The Interpreter
I really don't care if they remove it now. its not going to break my heart one bit! Cedar Fair took what was an awesome ride, and neutered it, and now its just a piece ol' crap! Good Riddance!! If WooferBearATL were still around, he'd plop if he saw this, but it needs to be said: I seriously doubt that CBS would have repaired Son of Beast and re-opened it, Flight of Fear was leaving to go to another Paramount Park, Diamondback would not have been built, of course Firehawk would be Firehuh? and X-Flight would probably be at Worlds of Fun...and the point of this particular comment...I suspect that Tomb Raider: The Ride would have been permanently closed and probably sold by now. It was having problems long before the Cedar Fair acquisition. On the other hand, you'd probably have two or three more nice family style attractions in the park. Maybe. As long as they were what Jeff Seibert in his latter CBS days took to calling "cheap and cheerful." Terpy, just sayin'
KIBeast
You said it all, Interpreter. People should be glad that CF bought the Paramount Parks. KI would now be exactly as you described. And who knows what "family" rides would have been installed.
The Interpreter
Note I did not say family rides...I said family style attractions. Who knows what they may have been? Again, I think most here would be disappointed if Kings Island were still run by CBS. Then again, the way they were running the parks, selling would soon have become near mandatory, and not just a choice in order to maximize revenue (at which CBS succeeded by selling at the very top and grandly). violakat03
Is there an option for "yes please" as in please remove it? Cause that's my vote! It's a joke of ride. Wouldn't mind seeing something more like Kings Dominion's Crypt...

mtl2013
in the state it is in now, it's like a wounded horse during the Durby, just euthinise(sp?) it and call it a day I definately agree with "longlivekingscobra" on this. The crypt is a pointless ride that should be taken out of the park, just like a race horse with a broken leg. Just get rid of it
