IslandAddict
Aside from landing on the mother of all air mattresses, if Wallenda falls 262', it'll be the end of Wallenda. Hope to see you guys there tomorrow! I'll be there. I'm the one in my picture (Obviously, hehe.) I'll be there with this kind of tall kid named Devin. He has this curly afro. And my dad will be there. He's tall, fat, and hairy. (No offence ) Anyway, I can't wait to see it. Hopefully the park won't be as crowded as I hope it won't be. (What?) touchdown62
Wow. 262 feet in the air. Having been on both platforms of the Eiffel Tower, I can appreciate how high that is. Now just imagine being that high in the air with nothing more than a wire the diameter of a nickel (why does it have to be a nickel at a CF park?) under your feet. I'm already nervous for him, and I won't even be there. This will truly be an amazing feat when he takes those last steps onto the Eiffel Tower. Fear the Four
This is going to be scary to watch when I go see it.
Dvo
Does anyone know if a local news station is going to stream video of the walk at all? EDIT: WLWT streamed video of the walk, although through a camera he really just looked like a black dot. Nonetheless he made it! Congrats to Mr. Wallenda on a great feat. CedarPointer
The park was SO CROWDED! In three hours, I got two rides in! The walk was awesome, though!
RacingFan
We just got home. We were second in line to talk to him after his walk. He was soaked and tired, but made plenty of time to take a pic with my kids, sign it and talk to them without sounding rushed at all. Great walk. markr
Had a terrific view of the walk from the parking lot. I'm so relieved he is ok.
CedarPointer
That photo line moved slower than Firehawk's.
goofywdw
That was very cool! My group of friends from work and I were sitting in the grass in front of International Showplace and could see the complete walk perfectly. I took a video of the whole thing which I will have to edit up later. I can't believe how fast he was walking towards the end right before he got to the tower. I was scared he was going to mess up right when he was almost done. I loved it though, thought it was a great event for the park.

CedarPointer
I think the only thing that could have been handled better was that it wasn't exactly clear that you couldn't watch from the area between the bandstand and Tower Drinks. There were enough employees, one of them could have told everyone that they had to move instead of expecting us to ask. Still got a good spot (across from Glass Blower's shop) in spite of that, though.
