October 12, 200916 yr ^...what was the point of that post? A demonstration that failure to quote properly can drive other users nuts?
October 12, 200916 yr "Where are Beast, Flight of Fear, and Adventure Express?" Those rides are not visible from "normal" locations within the park, save Beast's lift hills. I decided to exclude him because we need to see more of a coaster than that. Adventure Express is buried in trees and Flight of Fear is INSIDE A BUILDING. That's one thing I love about those rides-mostly The Beast and Adventure Express-the fact that you can't see the ride easily from the queue. I can only imagine how thrilling and suspenseful it was to ride The Beast in its early years. It seems to be an art that's completely lost now.
October 12, 200916 yr You certainly can't see much of Son of Beast, other than the massive lift hill, from anywhere in the park except the Eiffel Tower...
October 12, 200916 yr The Racer is gorgeous in its vintage. There's just something about the white woodies. Still, looking up at Diamondback towering over the park is a beautiful thing. My vote went to Diamondback.
October 12, 200916 yr Why am I the only one to vote for Little Bill, come on now guys, that coaster is majestic to say the least. Obviously, I am kidding. I voted for Little Bill but my real vote would go to Vortex. At night the coaster is lit up perfect I think and during the day I would say it is one of the most photographed coasters at Kings Island.
November 24, 200916 yr its hard between Vortex and Diamondback but im going to have to go Diamondback
November 25, 200916 yr ^...what was the point of that post? I ask myself that about a lot of his posts. He seems to be getting (very slowly, though) better.
November 25, 200916 yr My vote goes to Racer. I have a weakness for wooden coasters. As much as I love DB, Racer just has that classic wooden coaster appeal that every amusement park needs.
November 30, 200916 yr It's hard to beat the brillant red and yellow of Diamondback. It was refreshing to see that addition to the skyline this season.
November 30, 200916 yr I went with DB, if only they could rip down the walls on Flight of Fear since it would be so nice for everyone to be able to see its mess of steel all wrapped up so nicely!
December 3, 200916 yr Flight of Fear is fairly photogenic, but we should be glad that CF still has most of the theming on ours!
January 2, 201016 yr I picked BLSC because it is visible but still leaves a little to the imagination. For example, I see fire flames. What is really going on?
January 5, 201016 yr Vortex has always been my pick for the most photogenic coaster. Racer would be second if they had kept up with the paint, but as it stands Diamondback and Son of Beast are ahead of it followed by Invertigo and Firehawk. Reptar is a nice choice for a kiddie coaster. Those things said, my favorite coaster sight at Kings Island is still a very special view of The Beast.
January 5, 201016 yr I have to agree with dare-to-fly! If some of you would have seen some of the views he and I have, you would think The Beast is the Best Looking Coaster at Kings Island.
