But that ride looks cool, yet exactly the same as Scooby Doo besides Scooby......

Who knows maybe they will do a rehab on the guns as well. I can hope can't I.

All I ever hear from my friends is that many of the cars have had their guns removed, still more have inoperable guns, and the cars that do have guns do not emit a visible laser, or even a visible red dot on the wall, thus making targeting near impossible.

Perhaps it's that that Sally Corp is being brought in to change, and not the themeing so much? After all, as far as I've heard, ours is the only of the Scooby rides that was literally falling apart one gun / prop at a time. Having ridden Kings Dominion's just last year, I found it to be really incredible and for the first time realized we really did get gypped. Perhaps the tables will turn?

I mean this in the nicest/sincerest way...I truly wish that I was still as optimistic as you are.

I try to stay as optimistic as possible about things *cough*Son of Beast reopening and Cedar Fair's theming ability to improve*cough* hahaha

I just woke up from a Boo Blasters dream, and as I got out of bed I had this conclusion: Maybe Cedar Fair scavenged some of the theme from the Castle for the two Boo Blaster rides, and maybe Kings Island brought in Sally Corp to indeed create a whole new experience.

It makes some sense to me that 3 partial rethemes might be more expensive than a single whole retheme... Also, its 20 days until Kings Island's opening, and Cedar Fair has released pictures all over the new Planet Snoopy, but not one exterior shot of the castle.

Patience, young grass hopper. Things will be revealed in due time. Besides wouldn't you rather be surprised by the new experience than let down from over hype of the experience? Like I said in another thread, if KI's new dark ride experience has some of the same new effects as CarowindsBoo Blasters on Boo Hill I will be happy

You could see the exterior in the background durign the WLWT news report about a week ago, and nothing major was seen. However, the castle was quite a-ways back, so there could be some things added.
