Jasper you may hate me for this but I have Drop Zone as well as a Face off shirt both say Paramounts Kings Island. I can say Kings Island had reaaly good Merch when paramount was around.

I checked KI Marketplace to see if anything new had been added or changed, and Peanuts items have been added. Also, it appears a 'larger' (I use that term loosely) variety of items have been added for certain categories.

The new Flight Deck hat is pretty cool. Much, much better than the Diamondback one.

This is one of the cutest things I've seen on their site in a while! Too bad it's so small.

At that price level from a theme park, I'd not be trusting any data of any importance to it!

Keep in mind the fact that they'll probably make a ton off of the shipping, if it's a flat rate for any item. (I don't see shipping info anywhere on the site...)

Yup that shirt says PKI team member on it I've seen that shirt many of times. Also one year the park gave out we beat the Heat cups for the employees.

whats interesting is that there are quite a few items now with Son of Beast listed. a mug, scrapbooking kit, and photo frame. were those on sale last year? i didnt really check the shop for those types of items, so i dont know. ive seen the scrapbooking kit, but the others i dont think so. I did however buy a 4 pack of shotglasses that were fear the four as they had SOB on them... im still glad i got a SOB commemorative coin sealed in the package from its opening year, it has all the records, the old logos and everything!

b. Son of Beast is going to reopen, and selling merchandise for it is always good for many reasons, from profit making to generating interest in the ride.

c. The park truly has no idea yet if Son of Beast will or will not reopen, but some more merchandise was found, and on line is a great, relatively quiet place to get rid of what you have on hand.

d. The marketing/PR/merchandising people at Kings Island are either tired of the endless speculation about the ride's fate and/or are enjoying it tremendously so either some more merchandise was found and/or a small amount was ordered and selling merchandise is always good for profits and/or is a good way to get rid of what you have.

e. A vendor accidentally produced more Son of Beast merchandise, and the marketing/PR/merchandising people at Kings Island are either tired of the endless speculation about the ride's fate and/or are enjoying it tremendously and selling merchandise is always good for profits and/or is a good way to get rid of what you now serendipitously have.
