Coney Islander
I thought this would be an interesting poll... Shaggy. An older, more Hawaiian, Shaggy lookalike... If anyone can find a better picture of the 'Shaggy running in a circle' scene, it will be greatly appreciated.
Dbfan
I was about to post the same thing! It does look like an older Shaggy. I remember a scene where a skeleton reaches for shaggy, forget where I saw it though.
rotag
i went with the new guy, he doesnt look as fake
Diamondback FOF
I was thinking this was a poll about our very own Shaggy member and some new guy...
The Interpreter
More like (our) Shaggy and the Terpy...(as the old guy). Well, before Gerber Lil Entree Toddler Meals, anywho... Terpy (always tell the truth...no one will ever believe you!)
CincyMan98
I like the new guy. Poor guy.....he looks like he's on a vacation, but he has ghosts chasing after him....poor guy.
Beast79
I like the new guy! Hopefully they will rotate around more often than Shaggy and the werewolf...
JAHill
New Guy FTW. We should give him a name, and refer to him as such for as long as he exists in the ride.
TombRaiderFTW
^ Bam. Done: Richard. Also, I vote for him. He's much more realistic than ol' Shag.
RingMaster
I'm hoping he's not the only "human" character in the whole ride. I would imagine there's a whole family of tourists in there that you have to rescue from the evil clutches of Boocifer...who I'm going to call Boo Boo. On a side note, I wasted a good two hours of today just giggling over the name Boo Blasters on Boo Hill and, in effect, Boo Boo. ....hang on. We should call That New Guy YOGI! Monroe
I hope John Reilly doesn’t go on this, or he will be asking for royalties. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_C._Reilly
Beast1979
New guy rocks. He's got a video camera, he's getting chased away by the Skeletons who own the place, obviously he was trying to take a Haunted Mansion POV, but they're illegal there. I vote we call him ACEr Shaggy, named after his predecessor.
Thrill_Biscuit
New Guy! The expression is priceless! ^^good eye, Monroe!!! LOL
IndyGuy4KI
I voted for the new guy, but what is up with his hair?
Thrill_Biscuit
I voted for the new guy, but what is up with his hair? I'm thinkin' "Krusty the Clown" with that hair.
IndyGuy4KI
Looks like his rug on top is about to blow away from running. I think it is funny and adds to his fear expressions. I am guessing that is what they were going for.
frisbeefan
I like the new guy, he's funny and I think BBoBH will be a nice experience.
beastrider97
I had to say Shaggy. I will never forget Shaggy and will probably refer to the New Guy as Shaggy.
Shaggy
Like Zoinks! Jinkeez... I thought I was being set up for a brawl LOL Not sure how I feel about KI dropping Scooby and Shaggy from the park. Time marches on I guess... but it just doesn't seem right for KI to not have the characters present in some form. Believe it or not, I have never been a huge adult fan of Scooby Doo. It was my favorite cartoon as a kid, but I don't regularly follow it. I do not care for the newer Scooby Doo cartoons at all. I loved the originals, and they could still hold my attention. However I completely lost interest once they introduced Scrappy Doo in the late 1970s-early 1980s. Scooby Doo completely jumped the shark and suffered from cousin oliver syndrome with that one. As far as this new ride theme... it's fine. Kids will still love it :-) Shaggy
SOB_TOM
Honestly, when I saw this thread, I thought immediately that it was a debate between Shaggy and a new poster (the Shaggy on the forums, not Shaggy on the turntable...) As for a name, I say we go with Richard Shaggy McPhearson. Why Richard Shaggy McPhearson? Why not?

XGatorHead 8904
I had to vote for Shaggy. That Shaggy and werewolf were probably the best props in the whole ride. If only all the characters in that ride had been that quality instead of wooden cutouts... I do like the look of the new guy, but Shaggy edged him out because... well, you know, it's Shaggy! I agree with you about Scrappy Doo. I've always said he and his constant "Puppy Power!" ruined a good thing, and that's why I loved that he turned out to be the villain in the first live action film. I still watched it when he was on the show, but didn't like it quite as much as the originals. But even Scrappy was better than A Pup Named Scooby Doo, which my daughter has recently discovered. As for a name, I say we go with Richard Shaggy McPhearson. Why Richard Shaggy McPhearson? Why not? Done deal. Everyone should now refer to this character as Richard Shaggy McPhearson. I say we call him Norville. A couple of people have commented that he looks like an older version of Shaggy (which I kind of agree with). And as Shaggy got older, wouldn't he drop the nickname and go by his real name, which is Norville Rogers?
Plankton
New guy. As much as I love Scooby Doo, the new guy is funny looking; reminds me of an older, worn version of Shaggy after his party days in the 70s.
CincyMan98
I'm naming him Rich. "Richard" sounds to much.....

LongLiveTheSmurfRide
He should just be named "Guy" since he's the new Guy and doesn't have much personality or style in clothing. Like, "Hey Guy, what's up with those skeletons chasin' yah?"
iChase
New Guy FTW. We should give him a name, and refer to him as such for as long as he exists in the ride. By calling him "The New Guy" we've officially named him.
Dvo
That shirt just screams "Weekend at Bernie's" to me... so I'm voting we call him Bernie.
TTD-120-420
Shaggy for sure. I mean, you can't beat Scooby Doo and his friends. Just can't.
