BeastForever Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 This a poll I thought about when I was looking at the park map yesterday when I was at KI... Oh yeah, and for the bonus question I promised in the poll description, here it is! If you could only pick 3 different rides to ride for a day you spend at KI, which three would you choose? Here's my lineup: Diamondback Drop Zone The Beast 1 Quote
coaster_junky Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 i voted rivertown, something about it just draws me to it first every visit, even if i don't ride anything there first. my three ride lineup is: Son of Beast Diamondback racer Quote
Pillsberry123 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Rivertown by far. I love the look, I love the rides, I love the food, and I love the shade. As for my top 3: 1. The Beast 2. Diamondback 3. The Racer Quote
BeastForever Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 I voted Coney Mall since there's a large variety of rides in that section. Everything from flying coasters to action theaters. 1 Quote
muppetfan1999 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I voted coney mall. I sometimes do spend entire days in there! Quote
LordSkippy Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I picked Rivertown. Can you guess why? And for the top three rides, I'd go with Diamondback, Vortex, and The Racer. Quote
IslandAddict Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Rivertown, definately. I love the atmosphere there. I spend most of my time there, even if it isn't riding anything. It also has three of my favorite places to eat. For the three rides, it would be, ummm, Diamondback, The Beast, and The Racer. EDIT: Woah, I picked the same things Pillsberry123 did. Quote
TylerRider Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I choose Rivertown. I love the feel of it. 1.Diamondback 2.The Crypt 3.The Racer (I could ride it 100 times.) Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Diamondback Flight of Fear Drop Tower. Quote
CincyMan98 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Rivertown. I also have the same reason as everybody else...and POTATO WORKS! Quote
Dieseltech20 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Rivertown Diamondback Vortex Drop Tower Quote
rotag Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Oktoberfest 1)boo blasters 2)ki&mv railroad 3)eXtreme Skyflyer Quote
McSalsa Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Rivertown, because of Beast, Diamondback, and White Water Canyon. Plus there's a LaRosa's and Potato Works, etc. I'll ignore the big box though! My 3 ride lineup? #1-The Beast #2-Diamondback #3-Vortex (I would have picked Flight of Fear but the wait for it can be awful) Quote
Dbfan Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Coney Mall. You get some flats and 4 great coasters My three would be: Diamondback Flight of Fear Adventure Express I was thinking about The Beast, but if I only rode those three rides over and over, my day would be shortened by The Beast. Quote
BavarianBeatle Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Coney. There is more to do there than anywhere else in the park. Top 3: 1. The Beast 2. SoB if it's running, if not, FoF. 3. Delerium. Quote
KingsIslandNinja Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 i would've picked Action Zone if Son of Beast was open Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Can I say Paramount's Rivertown? ...No reason. Quote
Guest Millennium Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Coney Mall 1. Backlot Stunt Coaster 2. RFYL Charlie Brown 3. The Beast Quote
Outdoor Man Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 funny things is- 3 years ago (pre-Diamondback)- 90% of the vote would have probably been for Action Zone. I voted Planet Snoopy. I WANT to get out of that area... I have kids and tend to get trapped peering out the window to a vast amusement park I haven't seen in years! Boy I can't wait to ride Skylab when I finally get back over to the other side of the park! Quote
Pillsberry123 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 funny things is- 3 years ago (pre-Diamondback)- 90% of the vote would have probably been for Action Zone. Yep, you're probably right! I'd still take Rivertown though. It's home to The Beast, it has the best food, and the most shade (something that Action Zone doesn't have much of). Actually, I'd take Coney Mall over Action Zone. I'm not saying your post is wrong (because I think it's right) I'm just saying why I'd still pick Rivertown over other areas even without Diamondback. Quote
Outdoor Man Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 no, i completely agree. but before Diamondback, The Beast was about the only show in rivertown once they neutered TRTR. Quote
rotag Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Can I say Paramount's Rivertown? ...No reason. on that note, can i change it & say PRE-Paramounts Rivertown? Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Well I would say Rivertown, because the train. That is my loop hole, I will ride the train and go to Boomerang Bay! Quote
Thrill_Biscuit Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Coney. It's where I spent entire days back in the ... ancient days. I have a particular fondness for that area of the park, because I would spend whole days among Zodiac, Giant Slide, Monster, repeat... Quote
beastrider97 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Rivertown because it has the two best rides in the park. I can spend my whole day riding Diamondback and The Beast. My three rides that I would ride would be, 1. Diamondback 2. The Beast 3. Drop Tower Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Rivertown. 1. Diamondback 2. Beast 3. Drop Tower Quote
TheCryptRaider Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Rivertown! Beast, Diamondback, White Water Canyon, KI&MVRR.... I could live there! Top 3 Rides: (this is difficult) 1. Diamondback (of course) 2. The Beast 3. The Racer Quote
markr Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Rivertown not just because of Beast and DB but I also think it is the nicest part of the park as well as the coolest. On a hot day, the rest of the park is like an oven, I think, because of the blacktop. I think the new paving in Rivertown keeps that section cooler. Quote
Dvo Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Coney Mall. Between Racer, FoF, Dodgem, and Vortex, I'm a happy man. Not to mention skyline chili As for three rides... Drop Tower Flight Deck Vortex Quote
