August 23, 201015 yr Despite the fact that all we're hearing is that every single Dubai park has been put on hold, concept art was released on the Goddard Group's facebook for Six Flags Dubailand: Kingdom of Thrills. There appears to be a hypercoaster towards the back of the park (which, if you follow the track long enough, appears to have a diving spiral / splashdown mixture from this concept art). There also looks to be a white Dive Machine towards the park's entrance, tucked into a corner with an enormous wooden coaster. There also appears to be a backlot / wharf area similar to the one at Parque Warner Madrid (a former Six Flags Park), a Tomorrowland-esque area, and a very unique Ferris wheel. Also, I see a little area towards the northeast that appears to be a "Golden Kingdom" style area of temples, statues, rocky outcroppings, and even what appears to be a flaming lighthouse at its entrance. Very Islands-of-Adventure-y! Also, at first glance, nothing screams DC Superheroes to me... Anyone else see anything interesting or exciting? Just thought I'd share!
August 23, 201015 yr What are all those circle things that appears to be a ferris wheel right behind the center of the park?
August 23, 201015 yr Huss Giant Frisbee! Lower left hand corner. It's blue; this park looks amazing. I really want to go... it is my birhtday...
August 23, 201015 yr I wonder what the woodie would be. Perhaps it's an Intamin prefab? The hyper is obviously meant to look like a B&M. Liking the ferris wheel and the giant frisbee.
August 23, 201015 yr Certainly appears to be a nice B&M hyper in back which is never a bad thing! That woodie certainly has an Intamin-y look to it IMO. Certainly looks to be a pretty awesome park if it ever gets off the ground.
August 23, 201015 yr Look at the other pictures in the photo album it looks simply incredible beyond belief. I HIGHLY doubt Six Flags could/would pull off such a thing. It's....to good.
August 23, 201015 yr a. The name is used under license from Six Flags. b. The new Six Flags is not the old Six Flags. It is now run by a new CEO and by Mr. Al Weber (for now, at least) who you may have heard of....he came from a park called Kings Island and a company called Paramount Parks. A Mr. Dick Kinzel didn't see fit to continue his employment...a decision that man may come to regret before all is said and done.
August 23, 201015 yr And I do believe that Mr. Al Weber actually started working at Cincinnati`s own Coney Island before Kings Island was opened.
August 23, 201015 yr I really like that entrance to the parking lot by going under the wooden coaster with the large sign, really reminds me of Voyage at Holiday World.
