dxrunner
I hate to do this but you guys forgot 2 speils, so I have to bring this topic back from the dead. "Welcome back riders, Gilette Mach 3 hopes you enjoyed your ride on Top Gun!" "In case you missed the fun and safety guildlines up front the Son of Beast is a high speed, forceful, turbulent roller coaster ride with quick turns and sudden drops. People with existing or prior, back, neck, or bone problems, recent surgery or illness, pregnacy, high blood pressure, heart condition, or other medical condition should refrain from riding the Son of Beast. Please follow the recomindations and restrictions for this ride and if you have any questions please contact a ride attendant"
gabelogan99
As I've mentioned before, I've tape recorded myself at the park and on rides a couple of times and these spiels are actually one of my favorite things to listen to! It's little things that amuse me the most...and I love this thread! OK, here's a little quiz. I'll be very impressed if anybody gets this one. Complete the phrase heard in the recording: "Now, sit back and experience the battle of (BLANK). I'll give hints if no one gets it. BTW: Speaking of quizzes, in case you are new around here check out my quiz at my PKI quiz at the following link: (note that there are other quizes about other paramount parks as well. I did not author those.) http://www.funtrivia.com/quizzes/entertain...ount_parks.html
bradb055
The one that sticks in my head is... Caution, the splash pool deck is only 12 inches. Remain seated, in your boat, until the guard stops your boat, in the splash pool. This repeats every minuite or so and it gets old. Of course this may not still be there but it was before BB. shadow2k3
Wow, I'm suprised nobody bothered to do the Delirium Spiels. Well, here you go: Number Spiel (Long Version)-"Ladies and gentleman, as you walk through the gate you will be given a NUM-BER. This number is your seat number. Please remember that number and sit in that seat. Also, if you have any loose articles such as hats, keys, cell phones, and any other carry on items, we ask you to put them in the two metal boxes to the sides of the ride area. Thank you, and enjoy your ride on Delirium and enjoy the rest of your day here at PKI" Height spiel-"In order to ride Delirium you must be at least 54" and no taller than 6'4" " The load gate speils change almost all the time, but it usually includes the whole getting to your seat number and placing all the loose articles in the bins. Then there's the Slingshot pre-launch spiel: "In a few minutes you will be tilted back into the pre-launch position. We ask that you keep your head against the headrest at all times throughout the launch. When you hear the both of us say 'Clear', you'll be shot 260 feet in the air/off you go! Any questions?" ~S~

gabelogan99
Isn't it 'the battle of fire and ice'? Something like that I think. From TRTR? I've only been on TR once and didn't like it. It might say that but I'm not sure--it's not the one I was thinking of. Hint: The one I am thinking of is not at PKI.

PKIVortex
That may not be the correct version. But I think thats right, I hear it though every time I go. LOL

Hello my little pilots, today you're going to fly high and fast into the wild blue yonder hang on tight! Caution, the splash pool depth is only 12 inches. Jeff seibert sounding horse: Welcome to The Beast, please keep hands arms and legs inside the car at all times. thank you. Attention tomb raiders, we are experiencing a temporary delay. A team of experts is checking into the situation. You may wait in line, however we recomend you experience other rides that the park has to offer. (not positive) My personal favorite: (operator humming theme to price is right): Alright tomb raiders! its that time again! time for TOMB RAIDER TRIVIA!!! YAY. In a moment I will ask one single question the first person to raise their hand AND have me call on them with the correct answer will recieve this: (Blank: prize from junk people have left behind). Here's the question (3 rotating questions): What year was tomb raider built/What ride was in Tomb Raiders Location before Tomb Raider/What IS the oldest ride in the park. Congratulations! that is correct! you won this _________. If you'd like we can hold onto the _________ and you can pick it up after you ride, but dont forget it, otherwise it will become a prize for the next: TOMB RAIDER TRIVIA!!!! YAY!!!! ^This was often used if there was a delay in the ride area and the preshow operator had a full room of guests just chillin^ (exclusive to the 2006 season)

DeLorean Rider
or Ahoy Land Lubbers, Mr. Crabs, today you're gonna learn how to make a crabby patty, now move all the way down to the end of your row filling every available seat, I'm watchin ya, NOW GET GOIN. Makin a crabby patty requires both hands, so place all your loose belongings on the floor infront of you, and it can get pretty rough too, so dont forget to batten yourself down with safety belts. Once seated raise your arms high, so i can get to your wallet, er, ah, check your seatbelts.
PKIVortex
It's actually, "Welcome to The Beast, remain seated throughout the entire ride, please keep hands and legs inside the car at all times, thank you".

DropZone99
Welcome test piolets, as you are about to experiance Firehawk, Ohio's only flying coaster that reaches speeds of up to 50mph. Please be aware of the saftey requirements. Test piolets on Firehawk should be atleast 54 inches tall, and have no physical, mental, and/or medical limitations. Please secure all lose articules in the saftey bin, and get ready to experiance Firehawk! As you sit down, slide your arms in to the shoulder harnases, and pull your lap bar towards you as tightly as possible. A ride OP. will come and make sure you are secured enough, so enjoy your ride on Firehawk! Welcome back riders, how was your ride on Firehawk??? Before you exit please get your loose articles from the saftey bin, and exit to the stairs on your left, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Kings Island! The Interpreter
I thought you weren't supposed to be able to get in line for Firehawk with loose articles, and that they were supposed to be "forcing" you to rent a locker, which they installed in part of what was once Flight of Fear queue. Which is it? --The Interpreter, who has for many years been amused by Cedar Fair's widely varying loose articles policies...both between parks and within any one. PKIVortex
I like the second lift CAUTION: Please keep your hands down and inside the car, please remain seated at all times. THANK YOU! I dont even know if you can still hear that though. Barley anymore, but it still plays. I remember in 2000 or 2001 in the post season the second lift announcement was messing up, it would say, Caution car, caution car, please remain seated at all times, thank you. It's not the same voice that does that announcement now.
The Interpreter
Shockingly, the voice on the second lifthill is STILL Jeff Seibert. You'd think after all this time.... Paging Mr. Helbig...

But, the ride attendent at the front of the line didn't inform us of this. Then, when we got to the place where they stop you before the stairs/walkway to the station, that ride attendent informed us. He was nice enough though, to let one member go and get a locker, and then return in line with us.
