Dieseltech20
American Country? I didn't know there was any other kind. Glad to see Snoopy on Ice return, that was my favorite show last year.

jdawg1998
So glad Way Too Much TV is coming back! It was my favorite show of last year! (I love TV show theme songs...)
muppetfan1999
Top 3 shows I want to see: 1. Way Too Much T.V.! (Man is that a high energy show) 2. Snoopy Rocks on Ice! (Also high energy and a great way to cool off) 3. Peanuts Party on the Plaza (Sounds a lot better than the Planet Snoopy Show from last year)
HTCO
I applied this year for tech crew so hopefully I get a call within a few weeks (Already had an interview) .
CoastersRZ
Believe it or not, I don`t think I saw Snoopy Rocks on Ice at all last year. Most of my visits to the park occurred in the evenings last year, and by the time I got to the park, there were no more shows of the ice show. (I guess that is the price I pay for working at my full time job, and spending my weekends working down at Coney! And guess what? I`m doing it again this summer! Although, I won`t be working quite as many hours at Coney this summer, because I have a slightly different position starting off the summer than I did last year. BavarianBeatle
After the whole Haunt decoration controversy, why would they think that announcing a pirate show less than two weeks after this was a good idea? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110222/ap_on_re_us/piracy

Rather, they probably sing and dance while entertaining children, a skill Somali Pirates lack.

kjkjkj
It's nice to see that Starlight Spectacular will start the very first day the park is open this year! Kings Island has really stepped up the live entertainment the past few years.
Delirium13
My only worry about Starlight Spectacular is how it has been maintained, I haven't seen Cedar Point's (which I think is coming back for its third year now?) but if anyone has, how has it been maintained? Are there lights burnt out or have they done a a good job keeping it a top notch light show? (please no 'yes' answers ) Also on the topic of Starlight, as others have said, it would be really nice if they could get some lights going on the other sides of the tower as well, most importantly the side facing the fountains. But other than that it seems like it should be another solid show lineup.

Just because some Americans used VERY POOR judgment in planning their sailing trip, the word Pirate should be banned? Someone better tell Johnny Depp the bad news. You and I both know this, but the hypersensitive politically correct crowd does not share our sense of reality. This is true, but, I don't think this is going to be a big deal. I enjoy a copy of USA Today and a cup of coffee often and that was the first I had heard about that incident, maybe I missed it. It be one thing if this was "Snoopy's Somali Pirate Adventure," but in a day and age where these scrupulous acts happen on the swashbuckling seas and Captain Feathersword/Pirates of the Carribean are popular as ever - I doubt the kids show at a local amusement park is going to catch much flack. Flat Freak
Way Too Much TV was a fun, nostalgic show. Signed, Sealed, Delivered was a very good show. We often enjoyed the respite of taking a load off in the amphitheater in the middle of the afternoon for SSD and the music is right up my alley. The relaxation of cooling off in the Festhaus with a slice of pizza and the WTMTV show was great too. I'm glad to see them return. The Ghouls Gone Wild (tame family-friendly version) was good, too (and I believe had mostly the same cast as WTMTV). We only saw the country show once. I'll reserve judgment for someone that's more up to speed on that genre than me. We never did see Snoopy on Ice and intend to this year. Suggestions (but not things that would keep me from seeing them again anyway): I hope they change up the musical selections, though. Not that the shows weren't good, but a few new numbers would be nice just for variety's sake. Now I know there are very few people that have seen the shows a dozen times like me, but still. Also, Rod Stewart, while an accomplished artist, and with a catchy Motown-inspired "Motown Song" that celebrates Motown's history, is not a Motown artist, even if the Temptations provide backup vocals. Also, I think it would be great to face a speaker from SSD towards Diamondback. People might enjoy hearing the show while in line. You can hear bits of it on the final brake run after your train stops, but that's about it.
