I was just surfing around the internet today and was checking out some of the other parks. I noticed one thing a new site look. If you go to

http://www.carowinds.com/ or

http://www.kingsdominion.com/

you will see a new updated version of thier websites. Now i have been to the Carowinds site before and it look exaclty like King Islands. But i am just assuming that the Kings Dominon site is also updated. I hope Kings Islands' site gets the update becuase it sure does look nice, better then the blue and orange look. Is this somehow all tied in with Paramount HOLLYWOODING up thier parks??

Yeah...Carowind's site was changed a few weeks ago. But PKD's site has just changed. I wonder when PKI's site is going to be changed...

They are changing in the order the parks open PKI will be a week after PKD.

I would assumer that it is. The Carowinds website has been updated for about a week now. I would assume that all Paramount Park websites will be updated soon. Just wait and PKI`s will be updated. I would assume that the update is part of the Hollywood-izing of the parks.

Than they should do PKI's soon. Hopefully within the next few weeks. PGA opens first though and they ahve the old website, so looks like they are in line next.

Wow, the King's Dominion page looks great. It's my best guess that all of the Paramount Park sites will look fairly uniform, along with the Paramount Park homepage.

That new page looks a LOT more professional and it seems to have more life in it.

I reported the update two weeks ago and a mod closed it down. Odd that they let this one open, and yes all of the Paramount Parks will get a new updated website makeover coming soon.

I like the new site update. It look more professional than the previous one. I have the new updated sites next to PKI's and I can't help but wonder what they were thinking when the designed the previous ones.

The Paramount web-designers are in fact re-designing PKI's website as well as all the others. Follow the link below to the new site(in production). This is not the final site, and some of the information on it is either old, or not accurate. It seems the are just pasting old information (shows, event calender, etc...) to get a feel for what the site will look like, then they are going to add the corrrect information.

Yes, and the park will be open every day in March - July 2005 from 9:00 am - 10:00am. Let's remember that this is still a work in progress. Wait until it is offically posted.

geez, I fell for the Winterfest thing there for a second!

As I said in the original post about the new site, this is just a demo of what it will look like. The information on it is not correct, many things like the Operation Calender, Special Event Calender, Show Schedule, Concert dates, etc... are not accurate. Hense the fact that the operating hours are all screwed up, the shows listed are from 4 seasons ago, and the Sugar Ray concert is listed as well as Hallowfest happening in March.........All of which are not true. As for Winterfest I can only say that you will not see it this year.

Yeah Maybe not this year but in Holiday 2005!!! i think we will see winterfest!!! hey why else would they want to build a new Hotel it would be good reason to keep the park open to guests!
