faeriewench
Despite the rain later on in the day, I had a blast at KI. 8:30am I have arrived to this sight 9:30am I'm reunited with TrainedBeast. After I snuck quick photo grabs of the dino outside the front gate, we met right back up at Diamondback for ERT, to my surprise ( ) I spy pkiboy on our train. We had just that one go round with Dback before heading off to The Beast, there we had 2 go rounds back to back... partly due to lack of lines and plus Beast didnt want TrainedBeast to leave so he kept her stapled in. Our day was pretty much spent enjoying the park atmosphere and taking photos. Other rides we took on were Flight of Fear, the ever so confused Adventure Express, Crypt where we watched Rufus play peek a boo, and the best ride in the whole park............ ..... .......... the choo choo train! 4 or 5 rounds worth of that. XD By...what was it? 3 o clock or 4 when those clouds rolled in? We were about to board Dback for another round then the ride had to close due to weather... didn't stay to wait, both of us had to be off. Other photos I took today include the following: The dinos WindSeeker Canadian Geese And my new personal favorite shot of Vortex (hehe its my laptop background) My Kings Island 2011 Flickr album, go nuts. You took some very nice photos...oddly enough the one I like the best is the first shot of the goose! Thanks for sharing!
jcgoble3
Nice photos! By...what was it? 3 o clock or 4 when those clouds rolled in? We were about to board Dback for another round then the ride had to close due to weather... didn't stay to wait, both of us had to be off. I was also in line for DB (back around the final corner before the stairs up to the station) when it went down for weather at around 4:20. I decided I didn't want to get any wetter than I already was (I had just gone through all four water attractions), so I elected to wait out the storm in the station. People kept getting out of line and leaving, and by the time DB resumed operation almost two hours later, I was the first in line for the very back seat. Only about 40 people stuck it out in the station the whole time. On our way out of the station the ride op did one of those "on the count of three, how crazy can you be?" things that usually gets a lukewarm response, and this time it was the loudest cheer I had ever heard in response to that question. The response to "how was your ride" three minutes later was equally loud.

We were just a couple full train loads away from getting on when we heard the phone call arrive, before the announcement we had a hunch what that call was about Think we only hung around for about 10-15 mins after it shut down before leaving. The amount of rain been nuts!
