Scooby_Doo
I would But i like to Visit the Park during The Week( NO crowds!) --The Weekends are by far to crowed for me--
RyanA
Yes, weekends are crowded, thus the reason the Walk On times were scheduled on weekends. I like the perks, and they are a great marketing scheme by PKI.

TraderJake
Wow, an entire weekend in BB to themselves (and probably those who win tickets). Let's hope it isn't cold on the opening weekends like it almost always is (Both years I was out there on opening day it was really really cold, don't know about last year though). Nice perks though, I especially like the bring a friend free day and early entrance to BB ones .

teenageninja
Walk on weekends... that sounds like it's going to be a real blast for us ride ops.
SOB/Gun Steve-O
Only major complaint I have is the BAFFD on a Sunday. Last time they did that they ended up with 65,000 people in the park. Maximum capacity is 50,000.
stephenmayes
Ok 65,000 people, divided by roughly 7 areas of the park means that about 9,000 people were in each part of the park...weeeewwww...that is amazing... SOB_TOM
You are forgetting: One of those areas closes at 7. Let me put it in perspective: That day, every ride had a 3 hr wait. After the park closed, down at SOB, we pushed the garbage to the retaining wall. I was uniformally 3 ft deep across. Any questions?
TraderJake
I remember that BAFFD, I was supposed to be a late, but when 71 became backed up a mile before Western Row I decided to forgo lunch and get in to help my boss, who happened to be the only person managing at the time, and I can tell you she was having so much fun out there by herself. Some of my most vivid images are from those days, it was so crowded that people were the entire staircase and then some was filled with people waiting to ride the speed slides. Some things will never leave your mind... there was many, many more than 9,000 people in WW, I could barely make from one store to another it was so packed. If there will really be 65,000 people in the Park on May 9th, I will be surprised. May 9th is many days earlier than June 30th, so I anticipate there probably won't be as many people there. But then if there is, I'll be probably doing Merch LP work, which means behind the scenes work for me.
teenageninja
Ya, looks like one of those days where the Face/Off line is going to be about 3 hours long.
TowerGuy
May 9th is mothers day. I doubt that this BAFFD will be as busy as last year.
BoObKiNoS
Even before gold pass existed, mothers day has always been a BFFD. Its never that crowded. The 65,000 day was a saturday in june.
SOB/Gun Steve-O
That's right, it was in June. Man, I remember that day. We had to close up the gate to stop letting people in, and we told them all to go home - and nobody did!! I was an hour late because of the backup on 71 - I had to get in around 3, and it was backed to to Fields Ertel. Bad times. Very bad times. Return_of_Yogi
sigh I remember that BAFFD.... we were so busy for one day, they brought out all the old HB guys.
stephenmayes
Geezzz Louise....this sounds crazy... Know please understand that although I haven't officially worked at PKI yet, in all my past jobs I have loved the days in which mass chaos occured. Im sure these days are stressful, but as we can all see they are very memorable! Steve
DragonLord
Oh God! BAFFD is the *BEST* day to work! I actually did enjoy it because there really wasn't any down time. I like to stay busy! Also, I have a feeling that the walk on weekends is going to be a problem... it wasn't too bad during the week, but since the weekends are the busy times, it's going to be much more of a headach. I think after this year they won't do it on the weekends again. Just a feeling... and I do feel sorry for the ride ops! You guys are going to be blasted more than you were last year for it. Watch people jumping your que, though... that happend a lot last year, people would go into the normal ride line and then jump over to the fast pass lane. Not fun, but I didn't mind kicking them off the ride.
bwware
BAFFD was on Mother's Day a couple years back and I am telling you that the place was dead! Hop right off and on FOF with no problems, went the same day LAST year and all heck broke loose! Couldnt see in front of you! Place was packed! I am afraid to say but mothers day or no mothers day, the place will be hoping! I shall go anyway, nothing like a crowd will keep me away from that place! andyatuc
I've worked my fair share of BAFFDs but the best day of last year was the 4th of July when the fireworks were cancelled. I remember working a double that Friday so I could get Saturday off (to work a double at my other job). I loved running around through the throngs of people in the soaking rain while the speakers were telling everyone that a tornado was on the way. That will forever be fresh in my head. So many memories of those 16 hour days.....I can't wait for this season. Andy
