RingMaster
From now on, Invertigo will forever be known as Blue: The Da Ba Deexperience:
The Interpreter
At today's Flags, some of the biggest of decisions are made at park level, within established budgets and performance parameters. At Kinzel's FUN, some of the smallest of decisions were made in Sandusky. How FunForward will do things remains to be seem.
faeriewench
From now on, Invertigo will forever be known as Blue: The Da Ba Deexperience: Thats awesome! Now that song is gonna spring into my head whenever I'm around the ride.
jdawg1998
Do you think they will recolor the logo/sign too to match the track?
KI FANATIC 37
Do you think they will recolor the logo/sign too to match the track? I would hope so! haha
KI FANATIC 37
From KI's Facebook. It doesnt look bad, but it definitively is different!
PREMiERdrum
Until the supports are painted as well, it looks like an absolute thriller. A Serial Thriller, perhaps.

Windseeker
Just wait mid season the blue paint will start chipping off the rails, and the ride will look terrible.
Jeorby Nanpa
From what I heard, Flight of Fear is also being repainted. Here's a panoramic thumbnail picture: █████ I also heard that the anniversary of Vortex will be celebrated by installing a gold link in the lift chain. Not verified.
DeLorean Rider
I also heard that the anniversary of Vortex will be celebrated by installing a gold link in the lift chain. Not verified. Thats a terrible idea on the parks part. Gold is extremely soft and very malleable. As soon as that first train hits the lift that link is going to stretch and break. Someone should probably warn them.
kingsrattler
Don, that's not a good idea. They have been warned.
nhimes90
I passed KI yesterday and Invertigo has the top half(ish) of the hill, top of the loop, and the top of the boomerang painted. It actually looks really good so far. I think it will be a nice change. I will try to snap a picture sometime soon.
Joncars05
I don't care what color they paint it as long as they still play this piece of magic before the ride!!! :D <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PaV5UCMsW-8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But now that I've said that, it'll probably be a Glee cover of U2, which admittedly, would be worse. In my humble opinion, every ride should follolw Drop Tower's footsteps and play Van Halen. Though it probably wouldn't work as well for most rides as it does on that one. And you, as well as most people, likely disagree. Which is likely the reason they DON'T exclusively use songs by one artist, lol.
Colonel_SoB_fan
This was asked on Facebook and think it's a good question. Will the trains be repainted as well?
timw725
so why was the station trains and line area painted blue and green when the ride open? and not the red and yellow to match the ride?
Vortex
Will Invertigo become Stinger? I would not mind seeing some new names in Action Zone. Now if only they could bring back Amazon Falls.
Delirium13
I drove by the park today and I think the new paint looks great. The cobra roll and loop (track only) appear to be finished or close to it, I like the change.
CedarPointer
so why was the station trains and line area painted blue and green when the ride open? and not the red and yellow to match the ride? Because Action Zone's color scheme is red, blue, green, and yellow.
Tanna
I like the turquoise dark blue scheme I saw on FB. Slap some purple on it, and you have my wedding colors. I have an inkling to renew my vows on it.

bengalsguy23
Maybe the new atraction for 2013 will be yellow so they decieded to paint Invertigo, Just a posibility.
LongliveKingsCobra
Well that's a stretch don't you think?
Beast1979
My goodness, was a paint job ever just a paint job? Honestly, how on earth do you link a new coat of paint to a new coaster? Just stand back and examine how stupid that is.
TheKlockster
I love the new color. It's a great ride. Hopefully it will stay around for many years to come.
Diamondback96
You know, it's more likely that KI would get a new coaster if Invertigo wasn't being painted.
Josh Moore
I went on a road trip to Cincinnati today and just had to stop by the park to see how the paint job was coming along. Looks like they've finished painting the circuit from what I can tell. (Still a slight bit of yellow at the top of the lifts.) It looks great so far. Sorry for the quality. Picture was taken with my phone.
LongliveKingsCobra
Oh wow. That blue is really pretty!
bkroz
I think it looks good like that! I think I'd almost prefer that to the supports turning blue, too.
