Thats a terrible idea on the parks part. Gold is extremely soft and very malleable. As soon as that first train hits the lift that link is going to stretch and break. Someone should probably warn them.

I passed KI yesterday and Invertigo has the top half(ish) of the hill, top of the loop, and the top of the boomerang painted. It actually looks really good so far. I think it will be a nice change. I will try to snap a picture sometime soon.

Interesting that you say that, because I'd favor just about anything over U2. But now that I've said that, it'll probably be a Glee cover of U2, which admittedly, would be worse. In my humble opinion, every ride should follolw Drop Tower's footsteps and play Van Halen. Though it probably wouldn't work as well for most rides as it does on that one. And you, as well as most people, likely disagree. Which is likely the reason they DON'T exclusively use songs by one artist, lol.

I drove by the park today and I think the new paint looks great. The cobra roll and loop (track only) appear to be finished or close to it, I like the change.

Because Action Zone's color scheme is red, blue, green, and yellow.

I like the turquoise dark blue scheme I saw on FB. Slap some purple on it, and you have my wedding colors.

I went on a road trip to Cincinnati today and just had to stop by the park to see how the paint job was coming along. Looks like they've finished painting the circuit from what I can tell. (Still a slight bit of yellow at the top of the lifts.) It looks great so far.

I think it looks good like that! I think I'd almost prefer that to the supports turning blue, too.
