More details to come, but wanted to share the news that Kings Island Gold and Cedar Fair Platinum Season Passholders will be able to enjoy one (1) hour of early ride time every public operating day this year, with an expanded lineup of rides.

Kings Island begins its 40th anniversary season April 28. The park is closed April 29 for a private event but resumes weekend operation May 4-6. Daily operating begins May 11.

This is great news! Hopefully the "expanded lineup of rides" is announced soon (and includes Firehawk).

This is *awesome* news! Can't wait. I wish I knew for sure whether I had to do any processing on my renewed CF Platinum pass, or if it's ready to rock. I'm guessing they'll do the usual demographic collection and picture, but I'd heard they were changing the platinum pass to make it more distinctive.

I figured with the late April opening they would earn some of their operating days back in May.

Anxious to hear about the lineup.
