Nashville: new theme park?

Recommended Posts

Where is Maury County in relation to Nashville? From what they said in the article about Bluegrass Boardwalk, it sounds like it's not real close. Nashville itself is only 2 1/2 hours from Louisville.

Also, what exactly is Dollywood planning for that area? I haven't seen or heard anything about it until now.

What is the newest theme/amusement park in the U.S. that is currently operating (not counting Disney additions)?

Lego Land Florida just opened up last year. Also if the park does good some rides might show up at the new Opryland.

Nashville is interesting for sure. Great area, but so close to louisville and the zoo with the new blue grass boardwalk, the bowling green where Beech Bend ever grows, and then in Nashville you have 2 water parks I think and the new dolly project, then in Santa clause you have Holiday world.

Wow this will be interesting, great web site thus far too.

Hope it happens, as long as it does not knock out the competition in the industry.

Love amusement parks.

Well we hope never would Kings Island start sliding remember they do draw so many people in the top 10 every year for Seasonal parks.

But I do think the KI park could use a KI VILLAGE out front open to anyone, (as many people they draw). With shoppes and restraunts.

I know the new boss said no resorts right now but camp ground highly themed and well laid out for tents campers and families would be great.

KI crowd would not go south but it is getting extremely tight in the LOUISVILLE/SANTA CLAUSE/NASHVILLE/BOWLING GREEN MARKETS:

Who will be the soul or soul suvivors just quite possible the one with 2 parks already, and for sure DoLLYWOODS water park in Nashville.

I don't know if Tennessee can handle 2 huge attractions like Dolly wood/ and now Ole south:

Time shall tell:

So true it did prevent the Northern Kentucky park to be built at the I75 I 71 split south of Florence.

Kings Island won out, and should for any account be the major player witht the other 2 major (MAJOR) players being cedar to the north and dollywood to the south.

Time will tell about the Nashville park but it looks themed, from the rides, to a great plan so far.

Nashville seems to be in the news all the time now.
