stephenmayes Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Ok someones sn on here is FamousLastWords and somewhere at PKI something says that or has it written on it. But what is it? I cannot think of what it is.... Tiny
stephenmayes Posted May 5, 2004 Author Posted May 5, 2004 Welp I found the answer to my own question..haha... TR:TR Tiny
PKI Punk Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Yes, at the end of the video, but right before the door to the ride opens.
coasterdime Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 I have a stupid, albeit related question about the TR "movie room." What happened to the soundtrack that would play before that movie? I have yet to hear it this season.
GrandPoobah Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 The music that plays before the movie works now. I don't think it did on pass preview weekend. And yes, the final words of the preshow video are "Famous last words..."
PKI_Diana Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 I ADORE that ride! I know not real fond of the long "cattle herding" rooms...But I love the ride!
Dane Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Just think of it as your friendly neiborhood slaughterhouse! Your frozen than cooked over fire! Yum!
coasterbilly Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 never got to ride i when i was there . But i will return to get on it, the ride broke in the middle of the movie.
DeLorean Rider Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Yea, in the preshow, Laura Crofts, father says, "I guess she firgured she would just pop in, grab the treasure, and that would be that," then the rest of the show plays with fire, and tons of dramatic music and such then at the very end, he says, "Famous last words," and thats just as the door opens and you walk in.
FamousLastWords Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Fascinating... It's not at all what you call even odds... I suppose that's why my daughter, Lara, chose the life of a tomb raider... With a fortune to spend in a thousand lifetimes, she is not yet satisfied... And so my spirit remains with her always, watching over her... For I fear she is attracted, to the excitement, that comes when life, hangs in the balance... It happened once again, along the Kumar trail... Lara was lost, searching for the entrance, and she couldn't shake the feeling, that something was wrong... Not exactly, an unfamiliar feeling... You might say she stubbled upon the entrance... She was in, the trick, was getting out again... Not so easy when the temple in question was guarded by a nasty curse... I suppose she just figured to pop in, nick the treasure, and that would be that... Famous Last Words...
StXBomber Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Wow... you have no life. Of course, I knew you would memorize it when you memorized FoF's preshow too! lol
GrandPoobah Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 When you hear it a dozen times a day, you start to remember it pretty well BTW, I always thought the second to last line was "nick the treasure, and that would be that"
FamousLastWords Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Dig for... is what I thought the line was. What does nick the treasure mean?
FamousLastWords Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 That could be it, it's hard to tell sometimes It took me forever to understand the "temple...nasty curse" line.
StXBomber Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 I always thought that line was "mystic curse", not nasty.
SOB_TOM Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Famous last words for a Kentuckian: "Hey y'all, watch this!" I couldnt resist. But yeah, the second to last line is "Nick the treasure, and that will be that." Think about what is in the movie, does she dig for the treasure, no. She steals it. And nick is a British slang word. Therefor, being that the actor is reading in British, it would make sense.
