Airtimeluvr Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 If it was me my trade would be, To KI Sky Hawk, Antique Cars, and a frog hopper ride to be named later for Diamondback at Cp. 1 Quote
faeriewench Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'd switch Diamondback for either Raptor or Antique Cars Quote
16gwoods Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I would trade Firehawk for any B&M suspended coaster. 1 Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I don't think raptor fit in.that spot Quote
kjkjkj Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I would trade Firehawk for Disaster Transport (Yes, I am serious lol) I would trade WindSeeker for Demon Drop. I would trade Linus Launcher for Chaos (not at Cedar Point anymore, but using it anyway) Quote
RingMaster Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I'd switch Diamondback for either Raptor or Antique Cars ....Raptor? REALLY? I'd go Silver Bullet or Afterburn (or even Patriot) before I'd ever choose Raptor. Quote

I'd go Silver Bullet or Afterburn (or even Patriot) before I'd ever choose Raptor. Silver Bullet hurts my ankles. (tho its fun too) Its Raptor all the way for me, lol. I haven't done Patriot or Afterburn yet so can't really have much of a opinion on them. Quote
kingsrattler Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Alpengeist is probably my favorite B & M Invert, especially when riding in the front seat. Quote
Diamondbacker Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I don't think raptor fit in.that spot They could remove Congo Falls to fit Raptor. In all reality, how many times have you seen people in the outer queue for CF? Quote
Browntggrr Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 ^The footprint for Raptor is considerably larger than that for CF. http://www.KICentral...p_display_media http://www.flickr.co...N04/3354000705/ Unless you are suggesting to remove two rides for 1, which does not add up well for KI; and I'm not sure Raptor's footprint would even fit then. Quote
kingsrattler Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 ^ I bet it would fit where SOB is though (but the rules are we can't move it) Quote
Browntggrr Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 ^ I'm gonna start a FB page to protest this rather constraining rule.... 1 Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 If you think a FaceBook page is going to change the rule, I have a used Fast Lane pass to sell you, cheap! 1 Quote
74Gibson Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Have some respect people (half joking). Raptor's place at CP is iconic and... as much as I miss Demon Drop, removing Raptor may jut break my heart. Quote
westcoaster Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Raptor would not move, and anyway is scream scape saying they are thinking about 2 new coasters at Cedar Point next year for the coaster record???? Ride rotation has hurt us by losing the eagles in the past, and the tiques was a bit of PPP. **** poor planning build the coaster elsewhere. But that is my opinion: Quote
74Gibson Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 ^yes. They are leaning toward a B&M over in the Calypso area (last I read) and a kiddie coaster (I forget where). Just go to the site and search for CP This is a "just for fun thread." No one is speculating that these things would happen. Quote
jasonondropzone Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I'd like to see greezed lightn' from sfkk taken to ki after they pried the overgrowth off of it, and maybe even take there roller skater for Planet Snoopy, oh and it would be cool to have thunder run or twisted sisters/twisted twins to take over SoB's place Quote
jasonondropzone Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 just realized i broke a rule. oops. Quote
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 ^ Then what would the Koch's have to work with? Quote
jasonondropzone Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 ^ Then what would the Koch's have to work with? that would not be our problem Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Okay, but rehabbing and installing those rides would be. And since only a set amount is available for capital expenditure, you can also quite probably kiss any chance of a new ride goodbye for quite some time. Quote
Maverick00 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I don't think it's been mentioned on here but Six Flags used to have a ride rotation program where every park would name one coaster they wouldn't mind losing. There's rumors that may be happening again with all the shuffling going on at Six Flags. As for this thread, Vortex at Carowinds is not a good standup at all. I would trade Firehawks atmosphere for Nighthawks at Carowinds. Nighthawk is a much better ride with the lake/pond under it. Quote
