Soak City Advisory

Featured Replies

Due to the forecasted weather, Soak City will not open today until 1:00pm.

Considering that it's only supposed to be 65 today I'm surprised it's opening at all.

Why I'd walk five miles to the waterpark, of course back then it was just a mud hole.....walked in the snow.....up hill......both ways......Get off my lawn!!

Seriously, how cool is it for KIPR to let us know what's going on at the park? The answer is "Very"!

When I was your age water slides only went uphill, both ways.

I seen a guy one time riding Snake River Falls at Cedar Point when it was 40 out. Lol.

Thanks for posting this KingsIsalandPR. The family and I were going to come over and check it out today until we saw what the forecast was looking like.

Cold days are great for waterparks because there's no lines. I hit the waterpark at HW Friday and literally walked on to both Wildebeest and Mammoth on Friday without even having to wait a single boat. Saturday morning ERT had longer lines than I encountered mid-afternoon on Friday.

Really? Saturday morning was pretty short too, especially around 10:00am. Walked on Wildebeest, and Mammoth only had a one boat wait. But man, talk about being cold!

Around 9:00 to 9:30, which was when I was hitting the water coasters, Wildebeest had about a five-boat wait, and Mammoth had a longer line than that (though I walked on anyway by using the single rider line, which I didn't use on Friday). I think that like me, by 10:00 most people were tired of being cold and wanted to warm up, so they quit riding, which shortened the lines.
