TheBEASTunchained Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I was curious if anyone knew how much land Kings Island has to expand on? Is there more land that could possibly be purchased to make further expansions in the future? Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I want to say Ive heard they have a lot of that land behind Beast and DB. But dont quote me. Quote
NyTrO Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 ^^ yeah I believe that is correct I've heard the same from many members of this forum. I always have said look at a overhead view of the park back by The Beast and all that wooded area is the parks. Not sure how the terrain is but that's all owned by Cedar Fair Quote
BB1 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Going from The Racers, back to the river is the boundry, the rest I do not know, but the terrian has so many inclines, some of that terrian is "unusable". Quote

This provides ample room for potential expansion and the development of new attractions in the future. Edited October 24, 2023 by Jordan68 Quote

Tr0y Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Maybe they will get a couple bags of sand and dump them along the banks of the Little Miami River. That way they can market themselves “The Roller Coast.” Quote
OverlandTaxis30 Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 From what I read, they bought all the land they had on the advice from someone involved with the foundation of Disneyland. So that, they wouldn’t be boxed in as well as to provide a big enough buffer against development so as not to be a nuisance. Quote

A lot of the undeveloped land they still have left are steep ravines and protected stream corridors, so the actual acreage they have that they could develop on is even less. Quote
