LongliveKingsCobra
OH LAWD. Did you all see what this person has in their sig? "Supporter of Mccarthysnerd" uh.... uh.....Uhm....I don't even know what to say. Oh I do, bring the size of your sig down....
The Interpreter
One of the great advantages of using the mobile version is not seeing the signatures. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
stashua123
This employee said there going to put a giga coaster in its place. When i asked if they would put a woodie there he said"Wooden rollercoasters are out of style". He said there going to start demolishing it in a week. I talked to an effiel tower employee and she said it was really hard to expand the park with SOB in the way.
The Interpreter
You probably should have asked at the Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A as well. None of those people are going to have inside information.
PKIVortex
I knew that wolf pack was still going to be in it's station this fall, I was thinking more long term. I guess we will find out.
beastrider97
this is just annoying. i loved SOB. people are just sissies & can't handle it. RIP to the BEST roller coaster Kings Island ever had. it will be greatly missed. Yet, if Firehawk was being torn down, you'd be all for it. Everything is a matter of opinion, and in this case, facts.

Hank
I haven't even been to the park in 2 years and I can tell you this (after talking with my neighbor who hasn't been there in 6 years)..... They are gonna start removing SOB any day now and something will be going in it's place - even if it's just a lawn with a pond. My neighbor claimed that all of the people who take your picture when you first enter the park were asked to get opinions and ideas for what could be done to the land after the ride's removal, as Cedar Fair wants patrons input and will do what the majority wants - however - they're still asking the visitors, so there's no firm answer yet. I tend to lean towards the photographer's knowledge more than the Eiffel Tower, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, and Dippin' Dots workers all combined (especially on a Saturday!). Don't know why, but I do.
KI FANATIC 37
Im just not a fan of fliers. IF I could have my way, I would have a park full of B&M Hypers/Gigas and Intamin Hypers/Gigas. But we all know that wouldnt happen. Thats just what I enjoy. I enjoy hills.
TheCrypt
I"m all for saying goodbye to Firehawk and having B&M build a better flyer. B & M's flyers are all very cookie-cutterish. Oh yeah. Twist. Turn. Helixy thing. Ope! Here comes the pretzel loop you find on every single B & M flyer! Woo! Brake Run!

TheCrypt
Let us see here... 8 B & M flyers which offer similar experiences vs 3 Vekoma Flying Dutchmans which offer similar experiences... Statistically, I'd want to stick with the Vekoma because to me, they are more thrilling with abrupt turns, crazy loops, and high speeds. Why would I want a flyer with elegant swoops over grass, gradual increase in speed, and non-interesting elements (maybe save for the pretzel loop, but that's being generous)? The Vekoma Flying Dutchman sounds more appetizing to me. EDIT: Stash, I don't understand what you're saying... I"m all for saying goodbye to Firehawk and having B&M build a better flyer. jdawg1998
Also, not all B&M flyers are the same thing. In fact, most of them are different. Vekomas are EXACT replicas of each other.
The Interpreter
The Supermen, I agree, are nowhere near as good as the Flying Dutchmen. Tatsu, on the other hand, is far superior to either group. Simply incredible.
Titan
Sissy? Come fight me then we'll see who the sissy is . Haha just kidding. But no really, don't call me and other's sissies when you don't know us.
TheCrypt
Also, not all B&M flyers are the same thing. In fact, most of them are different. Vekomas are EXACT replicas of each other. Now I wouldn't say exact, 'cause Nighthawk at Carowinds has corkscrews instead of barrel rolls at the end! But all B & M flying coasters have pretzel loops. All B & M flyers have a curved drop. All flyers have in-line twists, etc.
Maverick00
Ive never been on a B&M flyer but I like the Vekoma flyers. I would say that Nighthawk is better than Firehawk. I think Nighthawk has some of the best scenery on a roller coaster. Firehawk is well, over dirt.

Colonel_SoB_fan
Do ALL B&M Fliers have a splashdown? Fake or not I'll take that splashdown over Diamondback's any day of the week. http://www.agaxtur.c...world/seaworld/ Ive never been on a B&M flyer but I like the Vekoma flyers. I would say that Nighthawk is better than Firehawk. I think Nighthawk has some of the best scenery on a roller coaster. Firehawk is well, over dirt. I highly recommend Manta at Sea World Orlando. One of the best coasters I have been on,

Fake or not I'll take that splashdown over Diamondback's any day of the week. http://www.agaxtur.c...world/seaworld/ Actually, no B&M fliers have a splashdown. There all fake, similar to Shambhala's, link below, http://www.rcdb.com/10239.htm?p=39490
Colonel_SoB_fan
Still considered a splashdown by most. Like I said fake or not still better than the water brake on Diamondback. Riders can actually experience the fake splashdown
TheCrypt
A splashdown is something where the train or something attached to the train comes into contact with water. Examples of true splashdowns are: SheiKra Matterhorn Bobsleds Examples of faux "splashdowns" are: Shambhala Manta
The Interpreter
By that definition, every outdoor coaster has a splashdown when it rains!
TheCrypt
Unless you're a ride that is only running 1 train and is shut down, then it doesn't have a splashdown!
TTD-120-420
Manta was probably the smoothest coaster I have ever been on. Not a single jerky area of the ride. And who cares if every B&M has a pretzel loop? They all should have one because they are crazy awesome elements.
A.S.Coasters
Only a few B&M coasters have pretzel loops.
thekidd33
He was speaking of their flyers, not all of their models.
A.S.Coasters
I know that, he didn't specify. Either way, not all of their flyers have pretzel loops anyways.
