thedevariouseffect Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Lol...you say that now...I have 2/1LT's that go from 4-5G pull back on the stick and hit 10G and G-LOC, and they're trained for that crap haha. Being a civillian and not having to work with a g suit and valsalva manuver all the time you're ganna black out Also, this isn't "blacking out" per say...but decompression chambers are hilarious when you see what happens when the body starts loosing oxygen in the bloodstream with no G load...fuuuuny Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I could put ya in an F-16 for an incentive flight...you'll do more than just grey out Where do I sign up? 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I can direct you to your nearest Air Force Recruiting Station, if you'd like. Helpful Terpy. (Be sure to mention thedevariouseffect; he may get extra cookies at mess). 2 Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 No thank you. Didn't we just go over that I don't like waking up before 11 AM? The military is not for me. 1 Quote

The Interpreter Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I note you did not deny you like cookies. Not from Subway, fer sure. Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Don't mind cookies...Subway cookies only if I know who bakes them, I'm picky after spending 4 years there. I'm a bread person though...french bread and nutella...that's like cat nip...or...people nip...dunno It's good though 2 Quote

myklhicks Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I've blacked out on Invertigo once and greyed out on Vortex once. Quote
CP&LERR Fan Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Maybe you should get a G suit, pushes blood back to your brain. Quote
venom Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 This happens every time I go through the loops on Vortex, but it's starting to not happen as much. Quote
thoe124 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 When I ride FOF I can't even tell if Im blacking out or not. (Only when ALL the lights are off) ( sometimes when they're on!) Quote
YoungStud Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Again if your blacking out on a coaster made for the general public you need to see a dr IMO. Quote
MDMC01 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I too have been graying out on Vortex lately (mostly from the 2nd loop to the hill near the MCBR). Surprisingly, I rode Vortex in 3-1 on KIC Day (I usually ride in the very back) and I was fine; even after graying out earlier in the day! Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I grayed out on Vortex on Sunday. Right at the start of the second loop till about half way through about 3 seconds. I usually do not grey out, except once in a while right there on Vortex, but not that much. It was quite warm out and was getting sun burned at that point, so I am not sure if that was a contributing factor, or it could be I was is a bad position? On my ride on Vortex Sunday I did not grey out at all, but on the lift I took several big breaths of air to oxygenate my blood really good before getting to the second loop. That worked perfect. No greying at all, maybe the time before I was breathing really shallow and did not realize it? Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 If you blackout or greyout...learn the valsalva manuver Quote
