TTD-120-420 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 At first I thought this was Kings Dominion's announcement. I was like "Well, that rocket in the teaser didn't work very well." Sorry for the awful joke!
kblanken Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Sometimes they are started by the park, like Carowinds is now doing for their 2013 dinosaurs: www.carowinds.com/images/banners/CC12-285%20dinosaurs%20alive%20teaser%20web%20banner.jpg
TombRaiderFTW Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 ^ Now now, let's be optimistic. For all you know, they're bringing a Peter Pan-themed ride to Carowinds next year. Yes, I think I will start that rumor. Aquatrax themed to Peter Pan coming to Carowinds in 2013!
TheCrypt Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Do they really think that Dinosaurs Alive! fits the clientele of each and every FUN park? For all I know, however, it very well could. What is the return on investment from the first year of DA! at Kings Island and Cedar Point? If CP's is respectively lower, I wouldn't know what to expect of Carowinds' new DA! I know nothing about business, so this is from a viewer's perspective.
kblanken Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 There are plenty of children near Charlotte, and every other Cedar Fair park. They actually do like more than race cars in the Carolinas, so dinosaurs should work fine and give them enough money. 1
Original Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Its all about the $$$. Ughhhhh... DA! anoys me so much. Edit: 400th post!!!! 3

kblanken Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 But it could be a trick... last year they put markers in the ground that said something like Huss frisbee on them, then put in a WindSeeker. It could still be the Peter Pan ride, which could have a tie-in to the peanut butter brand with the same name. This will give all Cedar Fair parks a chance to add a PB&J restaurant for their 2014 attractions.

We are still doing a whole book in math about comparing peanut butter quality ratings. We've been doing peanut butter problems for a month now. EDIT: Congrats, Original! EDIT2: On the Peter Pan thing, step way back in time to...Neverland? 2
