I don't know anybody that's going to this event. I'm almost certain I am not going to the event. I don't think my coaster club (Club Coasterfusion) meets the requirement to be invited to this event. Why would they announce it at beast buzz? You would think KIC has more rapport with KI than Putz. It will be during the week, and they will give two weeks notice for people can come and media. They expect to sale a ton of season passes that will go on sale after the announcement. I just thought that because they have an event that would bring in more enthusiasts (including those here at KIC) to the announcement. I have to agree with you though. I think there will be an announcement leading up to the announcement of the ride. That way the media can be there. I'm really excited because I think the announcement will be coming during August because of Don's last tweet and since August has 31 days. 1

The result? Largest media attendance since The Bat announcement. With Don, one just never knows. He does what he does...and it works! 2

We should keep an eye out for hidden clues on the visitkingsisland.com website this week.

Screamscape sources have confirmed to us that not only is the new Kings Island 2014 coaster from B&M, but that they expect it to be a new large Wing Coaster. And yes… unless things change, we can expect to see it fly under the Banshee name.
sheikra_rocks Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 The only defined path we see is from the bottom of the hill up to the maintenance area, and around to where the station "should be".All of the footers between Delerium and the maintenance area of this coaster are not for the coaster itself. There will be shade structures. Based on the shade structures are WindSeeker, some of the footers match, and would most likely come from CSF.By match, I mean that they are roughly the same size as WindSeeker shade footers.They still have plenty of time and room to pour more footers in the valley. The land is already cleared. Just because there is grass, does not mean that they can not dig footers.
