The Interpreter
...which, as has been stated, is the park's position. The Kings Island Company owns the land, the rides, and can authoritatively state how many coasters the park has. They have. 14. For now.
Bbmjwilson
If you google it and it clearly says 13 coasters. I don't know why this has been that big of a debate just read. maybe you should call them out on saying it on recording but online it says 13! TheCrypt
And you use Wikipedia as a credible source instead of Kings Island?
medford
Wikipedia has thousands of people editing and updating information, it has to be more credible than the PR spokesman for Kings Island, I mean he's only 1 man. Sarcasm/off
Bbmjwilson
Well, when all answers above are bouncing off and on from The Racer being two coasters and surf dog being one which clearly isn't. Yes I will use Wikipedia rather than Kings Island since I've yet to see anyone post the list of ALL
medford
anyone have a good face palm? Don perhaps? If you use reading comprehension, Don's pointed out the list of their 14 coasters, just not directly. He's clarified the only rides that would have questions on them. Don's word is 1,000x more official than anything you see on Wiki. Not everything in life is going to be pointed out directly to you, sometimes you have to use reading comprehension to find your answer, this would be a good thread to start.
UnrealNightmare
Well if Surf Dog's a coaster that means Voyage wasn't my 100th coaster.... =(

jcgoble3
The issue of why Wikipedia says 13 and not 14 had already been discussed in this thread, as you would know if you had read the entire thread. Wikipedia should never be trusted over a more credible source.
The Interpreter
And the list of 14 was complete in this thread, too. Reading. It's fundamental.

jcgoble3
We're bored. It's not like we have some mystery construction project generating almost 75 posts per day that we can discuss. Oh wait....

secondson
I don't think there's a whole lot of discussing that can actually take place right now anyway. Everybody has pretty much run the gamut of possibilities, and all we can really do is wait until we see track being installed. <snip> We're bored. <snip> Get a hobby...like me. I find smilies to plaster all over my posts which help to better express my thoughts and generally drive people up a wall.

shawnofthedead
Oh wow I just called KI, automated thing said 14, then talked to this woman and she had no clue lol. She did say The Racer is counted as one, but had no idea if surf dog is one or not. She seemed like a lost dog in high weeds, so I dont know. Im going to say surf dog is the 14th and thats it for me, like I said before kinda splitting hairs on their part. Also not important just something to kill my bordom...now off to the decode thread..hmm lol

Yes I will use Wikipedia rather than Kings Island since I've yet to see anyone post the list of ALL 14 Hey Wikipedia now says 14 coaster you happy now. I'll let those two edits stand since I don't care enough to revert (undo) them, but they're likely to be reverted when GoneIn60 finds them. If that happens, I would advise against engaging in what is called "edit-warring" (reverting back and forth), which will only succeed in getting you blocked. Instead, click the "Talk" tab at the top of the page and start a thread on the talk page to discuss the change and try to reach a rough consensus. silver2005
Did a little research on Zamperla's website, the designers of Surf Dog. Their Disko models aren't considered coasters by their own designer. http://www.zamperla.com/en/zamperla-products-rides-family_rides
