I just heard on a Columbus radio station today that they will be giving away tickets to the Sneak Preview night. The same thing happened last year and I can remember that it was a bit crowded. Several years ago, they used to have these nights separate. One night would be for winners of tickets from radio/tv station contests etc, then another night just for Season Pass Holders.

Drop Zone: 2 times

Son of Beast: 3 times

Top Gun: 2 times

The Racer: once foward once bacward

Vortex

And 7th portal

This was all in about 4 and 1/2 hours time. It was the least crowded i have ever seen Kings Island. Definitely get to pass preview night.

Is it possible to ride almost everything ( ALL coasters, Delerium, Tomb Raider: The Ride, Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle, etc. ) on Pass Preview Night ( April 11th )? I originally had planned on going to the park on opening day ( April 12 ) but that fell through, so I'm going on the 11th. I've never been to a Preview Night before, and I don't know how croweded it will be. I went to PKI on a Friday in April a few years ago, and the park was empty. In five hours, we had done almost everything. Is this possible on Pass Preview Night?

You can easily make it on all the major rides in the park no problem,a s long as they are running. last year it was really cold on the one day, and some of the Coasters like face/off were not running. I would say the lines are probably the shortest I have ever seen them on those nights. I walked on to DZ, and that never happens. I didn't wait in one single line on any coaster all night long.

Media Day is on the 10th of April... I am not sure of the times. The 11th is for Season Pass holders. Usually the park mails the employees tickets for "Dry Run Day" which is the same day as the Season Pass preview day. I don't know if they will do that this season or not.

Either way, there weren't many people in the park last year, on either day. You could walk on to any of the big rides, which is pretty much all that were open in the park. Some of the smaller and family rides weren't open, and some of the shops weren't either, but all the big stuff, and most of the coasters were.

Ugghhh...I hoping to be able to ride mostly everything on Pass Preview night, but it seems like it keeps getting harder and harder. I guess I'll have to wait one more week before I can get everything in on one visit. If they did this kind of thing last year, ( giving a lot of tickets to non-season pass holders ) how long were the lines ( time ) ?

Let's see...The web site says that there are approx. 5000 seasonal employees, and according to BeastFreak, each employee was given 4 tickets, which ends up coming to around 20,000 non-season pass holders alone. Plus regular season pass holders and contest winners, Paramount's Kings Island could be pretty busy on April 11th. ( ::Sigh:: I SURE hope not though. )

What is "maximum guest capacity" for PKI? Or how many guests does the park usually bring in on mid-summer day?

You guys are kinda missing the point of the pass preview night. Sure it is for all of these people you guys are mentioning, but it is still less then a normal day, and most people are there to ride the new rides. So yea it does stink for the people who only want to ride the new rides, but it isn't as bad as it will be on the 12th.

Also, it is just as much for the employees as it is for the guests. The employees are learning the job first hand and this night gives them a chance to test the job and see just how it works before we open officially. Just remember.... this is a Preview. Don't get upset if it is a little busy because you will have many more chances to see the park. Just don't let the crowds spoil your night!
