Well the day started off GREAT! They got 2 supports and 2 pieces of track up and then.....they sit. so not much has happened at all in the last 2+ hours. :(

Does it look like Octberfest pond is about a foot or two shallower today? There seems to be a rough, dark gray area aound its edges.

I just think that's where the snow came down but I could be wrong

YEA!!! Support #3 going up...im sure that means that track #3 for the day will shortly follow.

And it looks like they're about to lift the next track piece.

I know this is wishful thinking. But I wonder if MAYBE they might go for support #4 today. I doubt it, but I can always hope.

The one shown in that picture is in the process of being connected now, so it's definitely possible that they could get another one up today.

I wish we had a way to tell those guys how much we appreciate the work they do!!

Steve got his wish!! 1 support and 1 track piece in 2 hours, I'd say that's decent progress I wish we could tell them we appreciate all their hard work, as well!!! It's COLD out there!!!

I didn't expect the spiral to come this far off the ground.

Well, my guess for tomorrow is 3/4. 3 supports and 4 pieces of track.

And if we're lucky, Banshee (the track work anyway) might just get done by the end of the weekend.

I would expect end of the month at least. Still lots of supports and track to install, but they're making good progress. The weather has cooperated pretty well too - one major snowstorm back in early December and the ridiculous cold snap last week have been the only notable weather issues this season so far.

I was just looking at the rest of the supports that are left. Is the 4th support from where they left off today, just a single tube sticking straight up? Seems kind of "wobbly" compared to the other supports, its the 3 supports before the "carousel" starts.

In that picture you really see how much the terrain changes. Just to think some was slightly tamed for construction.
