Banshee Construction Progress

I wonder if they will have various popouts and wingwalls as shown in the renderings? I hope so. It adds more pizazz.

We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

I never understood what the point of the wall was when you're walking down the first set of steps when exiting the station.

I think it may be to block the Maintenance Area. Not sure though.

Hmm. That is a really nice rendering of the station. ;) It must be really cool to work on projects like that. :)

Please post the link from where the picture was!

The seat on the far right will give folks a good idea of the seat belt lengths. Now the question is, are these seats in what will become row 4, or is this a different row?

Cneww22, I meant please post the link from facebook (The Post)

Sorry! I'm new here.

How cool! I'm a coaster novice so those restraints look pretty unique to me. It seems like banging your head against the restraints won't be an issue at all. Doesn't seem like discomfort will be a problem!

Whoa. I didn't realize the grays and blues of the station would be quite that light. The renderings show both a light version and a dark version, but I assumed the light version was just drawn to highlight the stone sort of pattern.

The station is not done yet. I am sure it will be closer to the rendering.

This is most likely the front row as the trains are added car by car at the back of the shed. Why would they put row 4 on the track before rows 1 - 3? :P

Dear Kings Island, please keep the seats of Banshee's trains clean! Unlike Diamondback.

The seats look very comfortable, but I hope the seat belts won't be like Gatekeepers.

David, what are you gonna do when all three trains are added? :P

^^They already said they wouldnt...you missed an old memo mate .

Btw some die hard enthusiasts are driving me insane..

They see one car on the train and immediately think OMG testing soon...le sigh..we got lot more to do first

Yeah you tell 'em! They have to do this, that and the other thing before they start testing. ^_^

Station isn't built, all trains aren't here, cold ass weather, no ride crews yet, etc. They haven't even placed all ride op positions yet, only a few people have gotten their emails so far

I'll do a a little dance ;)

Construction crews have arrived this morning at the Banshee construction site......In preparation for another day of work......and the installation of the rest of Banshee's first train....

(in response to the picture of Banshee's car on the track) I call dibs on one of the inside seats :P This makes me so ready for April, though I'll most likely be experiencing Banshee's awesomeness in May.

EDIT: Those trains look pretty awesome!

I didn't know they hired ride ops for the testings when a new ride is built.

I was pretty sure maintenance and the park over saw the initial testing of the ride.

A Mr. Six dance?

^^Maint & stuff will go first, but ride ops getting to the ride early April for training & stuff. One guy I saw got Banshee's crew is going in I think it was 06APR. I'd have to check FB but I can't atm to get when he was inprocessing. Few people have gotten their ride placement emails for returners. One person on Eiffel Tower got her placement already Lindz said. Few other returners still waiting.
