BB1
Does anyone know how many g's could be pulled on this? I was originally thinking about 3.6-4.0 at the max, and I can't find it anywhere.
calakapepe
I'd expect your projections to be close to the end product.Invertigo has 5G but Banshee looks to have more gradual pull-ups.
Guest KingsIslandPR
The vehicles for the first of three trains for the new Banshee roller coaster were delivered today. The longest inverted roller coaster in the world makes its highly-anticipated debut April 18. (From KIs Facebook) Please post the link to the source for the photo as requested, multiple times. TheBEASTunchained
Next month at this time, hopefully Banshee will be testing. I believe that it was March 5th or 6th of 2009, when Diamondback began testing with all 3 trains on the track.

steveinphoenix
I wonder how long until the first test run?
calakapepe
Did they wait until all trains arrived before they started testing Diamondback? If so, then I would assume a similar order of events.

I do not believe "the" tested Diamondback. In fact, I have no idea who "the" is. razmataz, who just had to.
upstop
Do the inner collars adjust or are they solid? Looks like a tight fit at the shoulders to me. I haven't ridden Gatekeeper or any other B&M with this type of seat, so I don't have a clue. I was worried about fitting at the waist, but now I'm concerned about having my shoulders crushed.

Gplez90
From what i remember, they said they will the same thing with Banshee's restraints as they did with Gatekeeper's later in the season. I dont think there will be any bruised collar bones on this media day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
homestar92
It's tough to explain how they work. If memory serves, the top of the vest can pull out like a seat belt. It's similar to how the vest on Firehawk works in that regard.
upstop
Thanks! That's good to know. I was seeing what appeared to me to be a solid collar similar to Maverick.
sikkinixx99
I rode Gatekeeper and I loved the restraints so if these are better they should be really comfortable.

thedevariouseffect
Not bad...any other pictures of the ride progress. Was hoping to see some stuff of the chain actually being installed, that would have looked pretty cool I'd imagine

TTD-120-420
Speaking of which, if the webcam got messed up due to weather or something, do the elevators work in the off-season, or does someone have to climb up all those stairs? I imagine the latter, but figured I'd ask.

fanofFirehawk
To be honest I'm sure about the yellow. Yes, probably better than Gatekeeper's red, but I think purple or blue wood've look Beast.
XjoshhyX
This is a personal gripe I guess, but I was not exactly happy with the GK restraints. I am a little above average size wise, and I thought that they were killer on your collar bone area. I am hoping they've made ample improvement with these.
Adventuro
At least we will be able to see. Vs old invert style sights these are great.

Also, depending on where you sit, it actually enhances the ride experience a little bit especially in the front right on the wing over drop and the immleman. Hopefully Banshee will be some of the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Existential
I rode in Oct. And the new restraints are very comfortable. I marathoned Wild Eagle in April...and not only did it kill my collarbone I had costochodritis for a few months. Not cool.
Tanna
I'm glad they didn't try to match up the colors of the cars with the track or supports, after a while one thing would fade differently than the other and it would look tacky. I like the contrast of the train colors.
Gplez90
I think it looks good too. Itll look even better when they attatch the rest of the body to the cars, and not to mention when the other two different color trains arrive. xXDrummerKiDXx
They look so comfortable. Kind of reminds me of a child's car seat.
