Voicetek Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I found this video on YouTube and thought it was pretty neat. It talks about Drop Tower (then Drop Zone) and Son of Beast and has some great footage of each. One thing though, around the 40 second mark, it claims that the ride opened in 2001. Is that correct? I was sure it was around 1999. If someone could reply with the exact year it opened that would be great. So here is the video, enjoy! http://youtu.be/8DMIvVOHLqk 2 Quote
McSalsa Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 That's actually been posted here before, I think, 95% sure. And yes, they have the incorrect date for Drop Tower's opening...it opened in 1999, not 2001. And that is a cool video, BTW... ...if only we knew what was to become of Son of Beast back then... 3 Quote
razmataz99 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Cool video, thanks for posting. If you look closely at 7:34 there are some kids climbing on a fence. Quote
Tr0y Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Kings Island used to be about the ultimate thrill, same goes for Cedar Point, we are now in the B&M age. Quote

thedevariouseffect Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Still say CP is still pretty thrilling...if you're not seeing that...wow Especially considering there are 3 B&M's in the park and 5 Arrow rides, and then other manufacturers as well... People need to get off of your horse from time to time 3 Quote
