The Interpreter
I bet she's steamed. Then again, she's been in training for years, and their life has been going around in circles.
YoungStud
Without mr. Kinzel there would be no such thing as a giga coaster.
The Interpreter
Nonsense. Had Mr. Kinzel not bought, another park or chain would have.

Guest KingsIslandPR
Reason we recieved db and kd got i305 is because kd has more competition around them. They needed a flagship ride. Their only draw was volcano. Reason why we gave our guests Diamondback in 2009 is because it's the ride we wanted to add to our thrill ride lineup. We could have gone a lot of different directions. We wanted to add a B&M coaster. The ride has proven to be immensely popular, giving nearly 10 million rides in five seasons. The majority of our guests that ride roller coasters absolutely love it!

Diamondback96
Nonsense. Had Mr. Kinzel not bought, another park or chain would have. Such as Nagashima Spa Land.
The Interpreter
It also goes without saying Kings Island is installing what it believes to be the best of all possible additions for 2014. Had something else been thought to be in the best interests of Cedar Fair, Kings Island, its patrons and associates, that would have instead be being installed. It is not. Banshee is.
Ki Man
Our inverting coasters are sub par and honestly unoriginal in this day and age. And Flight of Fear is getting shaky. It used to be a good ride, but now it's alright. Especially the way the MCBR slams you to a stop. It's about time we go a zero G in Kings Island, along with some unique inversions on a smooth B&M. Forget your silly thoughts about getting a 300+ft coaster, they went in the direction of a looping coaster. What's the best place to look for a looping coaster? B&M's inverted.
BeastForever
And the ride experience between Invertigo and Banshee will most likely be worlds apart.
homestar92
And the ride experience between Invertigo and Banshee will most likely be worlds apart. The experiences will only be about 180 yards apart. They are both in Action Zone after all! (Yes, I understand what you meant. I had been waiting for a chance to use that image.

elyk
Lack of airtime? I thought it had 24 seconds of it to be exact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Many veteran roller coaster riders -- those that have ridden literally hundreds of roller coasters -- have told us they experience an abundance of airtime on Diamondback.

BoddaH1994
Funny how you talk about how DB shuffles and jackhammers yet if you ask 99.9% of the rides, they'll describe it as being "the really smooth coaster." Sounds like you're really just throwing pasta against the wall to see what sticks. By the way... I rode a bunch of Intamins up at Cedar Point a few weeks ago... they aren't exactly smooth themselves...

The Interpreter
Paul Ruben? Please!
homestar92
What about the roughness, jackhammering/shuffling? I think you're confused. KI did at one point have a hypercoaster that would allow you to experience both roughness AND jackhammering. But it's gone now. On an unrelated note, the iPhone will apparently attempt to autocorrect "hypercoaster" to "hyper pastry."
The Interpreter
Autocorrect depends on your previous entries. Hypercoaster doesn't autocorrect here. And you must type pastry a bit. Sweet.
YoungStud
Okay I am the only .01 % of people that think Diamondback shuffles, jackhammers, and rattles your teeth. There are several other people on here that say it is not butter smooth like mr. Reuben says. My wife will only ride in the first 1/3 of the train due to getting a headache toward the back. The Interpreter
Mr. Ruben made his statement in July 2oo9. Terp, trying to be fair (always difficult when the notorious Paul Ruben is involved (he of the hundreds of "This is the best roller coaster in the world."))
YoungStud
I could have sworn I saw paul reuben say ninja at sfog was the best in the world. I guess I may have been confused cause he says that about every ride.
stashua123
I do agree Diamondback has become a LITTLE rough but it's still the smoothest coaster I've been on
rcwizard13
Personally, I have never noticed any "jackhammering" on DB. Smooth ride regardless of the seat. In fact, the back is my favorite.
