Banshee seems to be getting a bit too much of the attention, so I made a thread about The Bat's construction updates.

As of right now it looks like we already have about 1/4 of the lift in black!

In that picture, it doesnt look like anythings been painted yet. Plus that section of the webcam appears to be a bit smudged.

Here's a copy from about 4:00 this afternoon:

Heres an image from 11 this morning. it looks like they have a lift doing something over there on the second hill.

I've looked at the webcams during different times of the day today (to make sure it wasn't just the lighting) and it looks to me that they have painted the lift hill and first drop supports of The Bat to the new charcoal color....

I know that it is hard to see but earlier in the day it was more clear.

Are you able to confirm this Don?

I also believe that they have painted some of the supports for the top of the second hill.

This is cool! They're almost 1/4 of the way done!

Maybe they were using the same ladders they did when they painted Vortex and they had to stop working when the ladders started sinking?

That's why so little of it is painted.

The curse of the original Bat continues - only at King's Island - experience it Spring 2014 (next to Banshee)

Does anyone else see the Orange supports on the predrop ?

Orange supports? I thought the track was to be orange with black supports....

It is. The track for the start of the first drop was painted orange today. It's a similar orange to the orange and tan crane that used to be used for Banshee.

I believed it's the track that got painted today, I posted a screenshot from the webcam in The Bat Flies Again fourm.
