rcwizard13 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Recently, as I've started to use this site more, I've discovered something that has become an annoyance to me. In the top left corner of the site is a button to return to the category/ subcategory that the thread your currently viewing is located in. However, if you're at the bottom of a thread, you must scroll to the top in order to click it. Is there a possibility that this button could be added to the bottom of each page, as well? 2 Quote
davidw Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 i actually really like how coaster buzz does it. they have a "floating" menu that follows you down the page. 2 Quote
Voicetek Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I think a floating menu would annoy me, but I think the suggestion for a link at the bottom of the page is great. I've thought about this on numerous occasions. Quote
MantisMan Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 There is a "Go To Top" arrow at the very bottom of each page that will do just that....go to the top. You can also hit your "Home" key on the keyboard that will also take you to the top of the page. 3 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I barely use any functions or buttons, I have the view new content tab setup to show the past 24 hrs of stuff for any thread. Makes it easy to see what's there and what's not. Quote
rcwizard13 Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 MantisMan, thanks for the info. Unfortunatly, that only exists on desk top version, the mobile version still requires me to scroll. Perhaps the "Go To Top" button could be added to mobile? Quote
The Interpreter Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 On an iPhone, touching the time at the top of the phone screen takes any Safari screen to the top. 3 Quote
