malem
A Facebook Inc. account is required to RSVP, so I guess it's a certainty that I won't be there.
MantisMan
Don't think it is required....just happens to be where the roll call list is located. Seems to be very informal, replying to the post with your name. I also noticed some peeps have listed more than one person on their account (friends, family, etc). Let me know if you want me to sign you up
The Interpreter
Unless Pat Koch is signed up, count me out.

She's already done that for a couple of older folk who aren't on Facebook. Or I could just put your name on the list for you, since I'm a member of the Facebook group. coasterfanatic83
They are seeming to really emphasize that Voyage walk-back on that webpage. Is there any chance that it has something to do with this? http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29254-holiday-world-2014-park-map/?p=613254
jcgoble3
Screamscape reports trees being cleared... near Voyage. If there is any truth to that (it is Screamscape, after all), then I would say yes. jcgoble3, debating about whether to spend the $50 in gas necessary to do the free day...

thedevariouseffect
I'll be there 30-31MAY, not sure about Lindz, discussing atm Another note, when I go to Holiday World I just drive there and back after enjoying a day being only a four ish hour drive. First time having to stay around the site, where does everyone stay down there?
Joncars05
Trees have been cleared! A big announcement is coming soon. This micro site (66DaysAtSea.com) is going live on 5/19/14 This blog has more teasers: http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2014/05/15/loose-lips-sink-ships/ Something big is going down at HW and it looks like it may be speculation time here soon as to what is coming in the near future!

jcgoble3
I'll be there 30-31MAY, not sure about Lindz, discussing atm Another note, when I go to Holiday World I just drive there and back after enjoying a day being only a four ish hour drive. First time having to stay around the site, where does everyone stay down there? The most popular places are the Lake Rudolph campground next door and Santa's Lodge just down the street. However, it may be difficult to get a reservation at either place for that weekend, since it is HoliWood Nights weekend and they are likely to be full. Beyond that, start searching travel sites; you're probably looking at a 15- to 30-minute drive each way if you can't get in at Lake Rudolph or Santa's Lodge. thedevariouseffect
Drive doesn't bother me to get to the park. I just want somewhere to rest for a few hours and unwind. I'll keep looking and see what happens.
MantisMan
For those that don't know..... Finally, on September 6, the Mayflower departed from Plymouth, England, and headed for America. By the time the Pilgrims had left England, they had already been living onboard the ships for nearly a month and a half. The voyage itself across the Atlantic Ocean took 66 days, from their departure on September 6, until Cape Cod was sighted on 9 November 1620. thedevariouseffect
We already have a Mayflower though..so now I'm confused as to where this is heading.
The Interpreter
As it was in the beginning Is now and... A diversion? Terp, lover of Sweet Home Alabama... just sayin', not necessarily on a rampage.
MantisMan
We already have a Mayflower though..so now I'm confused as to where this is heading. You and me both. The clues seem to point to a water attraction of some type but the placement and size of the clearings I saw would not be conducive to a water ride.
thedevariouseffect
Obviously we're getting something new and big at least I think. We will see. I've been following HW alot this year seeing how the company intends to go since the fiasco awhile back. Hopefully we go for the good, we shall see. Creed Bratton
They can only focus on the waterpark so much before the park in general becomes more waterpark than theme park. I personally don't find water parks that fun. Until Holiday World adds something new to the actual park, I don't have a reason to go.
The Interpreter
The trip is not worth the voyage? Though one coaster there may be a legend, it's the smallest wood coaster there that I'd be raving about. That all being said, there's a wooden coaster in Jefferson County, Alabama I consider better than any coaster in Spencer County, Indiana.

The Interpreter
If that's what they think they are hinting at, some of us loved Firecracker. I don't even want to think that was 17 years ago.
