The Interpreter
Is that why T3 is the color it is? The mind...boggles. Terp, who likes to ask questions.
homestar92
I thought T3 was red because they wanted it to match their financial reports?
jsus
No, it's supposed to match the look of embarrassment on the face of anyone rejected from the park for saying anything slightly negative, before ever being allowed into the park.

Dieseltech20
Same thing I was thinking as well. There are zero signs of any construction at the park.

Dieseltech20
Saw pictures of the track up close on FB. According to the labels it is a Wing Coaster and is going to a park in China. Not going to post the photos here as they do not appear to have been taken legally.
PGalati
I know someone who works at Clermont. Is it against the rules of this community to talk to said person in a leisurely manner and said topic?
JTW
I'd say it's against the terms of their employment to discuss anything that hasn't been announced. Would you be comfortable risking that person's employment? Would you report whatever you discuss? Would they trust you with any secret information if they knew the answer to that question?

Dieseltech20
I do not think the park has announced the new Coaster yet. Their page is in Chinese which I cannot read but I see nothing showing a Wing Rider. As for your friend, you can talk to them about anything you feel, including these parts. Sharing them with us is most likely not an option from said discussions though. I'm sure they would tell you that as well.

jsus
Well, it looks like the red track is not for SeaWorld Orlando's new ride.
McSalsa
^Wait, is this ride using the classic 4-across trains and not the V-Shaped ones? Huh. And it's NOT a Giga but a normal hyper. Either SeaWorld just didn't want to spend extra money on the V-Trains, or perhaps an issue was found with them. As for the coaster itself: looks like Fury 325 and Diamondback rolled into one and then shrunk down to just 200 feet (versus 230 for Diamondback and 325 for Fury 325).
homestar92
I just hope that it's built to be AVALANCHE-resistant.
TheCandyManCan
The V style seating is kinda cool and all, but it's not necessary, you can still get a good view without them, plus it makes for a smaller train length, so easier to go up and down the platform to do checks. I'm completely ok with that.
Coasterama
Also in the teaser video the train appears to have only 7 rows rather than the usual 8... interesting
homestar92
8 is a common number of cars for B&Ms, but not the be-all and end-all. Raging Bull has 9. Thunderbird has 5. Now Mako has 7. And I'm sure that there are lots of others with a number != 8.

jcgoble3
Nitro has nine. Terp, who likes to ride on the night row. After all these years, I give up. Is "night row" simply a reference to Nitro, or does it refer to a specific row on that coaster? And if the latter, which row? That way, if I ever get to NJFTP, I know to try that row.
The Interpreter
Terp thinks Nitro is one of the grandest night rides ever. And he ALWAYS rides it in the back row, outside seat if possible.
jcgoble3
Back row, outside seat. And try it at night. Got it.
The Interpreter
A front seat ride should be tried at least once. I've done that once or twice, just as I have ridden the front seat of The Georgia Cyclone a few times. Back's where it's at on those. Bizarro at SFGAd is a front (and back) seat ride...
Oldschool75
I think how many cars depends on elements and weight distribution through the ride. Shorter trains should be able to transverse shorter elements. But there is a reason for different coasters to have different amount of cars and setup.
