Oldiesmann Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Hersheypark is beginning to drop clues about their new attraction for next year. They also have a contest going right now where you can win a 2017 pass and be one of the first to ride said new attraction next year. See http://www.hersheypark.com/2017/index.php for more info and to enter. 5 Quote
rhyano Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Shocked no one posted this, but i'm real interested in this, they are claiming it will be a "First of its kind attraction" 1 Quote
silver2005 Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I don't know if the clues would match up, but I think the feeling is that HP will finally be getting a dropping tower (going by multiple coaster forums here). silver2005, avoiding the capitalization filter. 2 Quote
Creed Bratton Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 It's been rumored I think for a while, but would it be first of a kind attraction? Totally throwing it out there, what if it were a horizontal thrust ride? Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk Quote
Beast Gal Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 First of its kind? It will probably be from intamin. Quote
Diamondback96 Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Maybe it's a first of its kind trash can! 2 Quote

Supernova Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Only Hershey's Kisses Tower and Reese's Tower are Double Shots, Hershey's Tower is a Combo Tower, and it has rotating seats, which is a first for any S&S Tower. 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Why am I less than thrilled with a Power Tower type ride at Hersheypark? So many years later--I want to say Whoopty-Doo. I just did. 2 Quote
RollerNut Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Seems alittle silly to have three different towers, I get that they are each a different experience but still. Drop Tower at Carowinds and Freefall at Tweetsie while two completely different rides still do the same basic thing. Raise up and drop down. Quote
