PKICoasterFreek
My vote would have to be in the "Yes, But not any more" catagory. The first time I rode it it scared me, but not any more, I can ride that ride all day..... It's a lot of FUN!!!!!
pki_guy
Absolutely, Drop Zone is the most intense ride in the park.
Losing Streak
I think it's only intense on the way up, it scares me to death... as soon as you hear it click to release though, I think its one of the most fun things in the park.
fyrfyter
I think it is very intensense, and obviously still scares some people. You can tell who is riding it for the first time, as most of them will return to the ground with their eyes closed. Now I like riding it with them open. There's nothing like seeing the ground rush up at you at the rate of gravity. Just hope those magnets never lose their strength, or we will all be screwed. slingshooter003
The scariest part is going up the tower..I usallly cant stand it..hehe..
matt3224
I think it is a little intense... For first timers, it can be really intense. I have been on it too many times though and I am now just used to it so I am not "scared" by it.
CantStopCabron
Given my vivid imagination, I would have to say "Yes, sort of intense". I never fail to create overly vivid pictures of the gruesome death that would partake me if the magnents failed, or worse, reversed.
Inraider
I am scared to death of DZ. I won't get anywhere near it. I was going to get on it once, but I buckled myself into the seat, got so freaked out and the ride attendent wouldn't let me off!!!! So, I back-bended out of the seat and told them I wouldn't be riding. The funny thing about this is that, they were getting ready to start the ride, but, no-one would let me out, so I took matters into my own hands. (not to impune upon anyone that works on DZ.) pki2005
Drop Zone only scares me the first time I rode it. I hate sitting next to first time riders. You better where ear plugs it you do. LOL

CPRaptor13
Drop Zone's not that intense, it's more fun than intense. I think the first and second generation drop rides are more intense (exe Dungeon Drop, Demon Drop, Pitfall, Hellavator) Those are more intense. And the S&S towers are way more intense. But Drop zone is still a fun ride.
bingog34
It's intense. I think the worst part is at the top of the tower, when you don't know when it is going to drop.
mars1825
It's intense. I think the worst part is at the top of the tower, when you don't know when it is going to drop. Wait until you hear the motor shut off and then count down from 7. This is when you will drop.
Dane
That's the best part! I always laugh when I hear someone watching and countiong how long its upthere. "10, 11, 12 seconds" they say.
slingshooter003
I agree..The anticapation at the top is..Like nothing else.EVERYTIME I ride it,I hear the first click and I grab on and shut my eyes thinking we are going to drop..And then as soon as I open my eyes and let go and relax. We relle do drop. Its a great ride.Good view of pretty much everything around you really.Except the first few seats..It shows how rusted Xtreme Skyflyer is..Lol
