chaos
What ride do you think they will get rid off for the next new attraction they will probably put in the next few years? EX. King cobra-Delireum.

AZ Kinda Guy
Geesh...The park takes out one coaster and now any coaster over 10 years old is on the chopping block....Oh my "other" vote was Beast.
IcarusLives
I doubt they will get rid "OFF" any rides that you listed. You made a list of major rides that perform well and have no reason to be removed.
Stitch
Top Gun - Jeffery Siebert has stated that Top Gun will stay for years to come. Adventure Express - Popular family attraction, still young. Racer - Their signature coaster and the cause of the second age of coasters. Vortex - Possibly sometime in the future but not that soon. Flight of Fear - Most likely the most popular ride at PKI. Action Theater - Cheap to get new movies.
bradb055
I don't think anything will be going anytime soon, but if I had to choose I would choose TG. The only reason KC was dropped was its high mantince and its prime realistate. Location is everything in an amusment park!
SixFlagsMasta
well i doubt they'll get rid of beast like that one dude said cause it's like the most fmaous woodie of all time and it's still running well. i'd say if anything were to go it would be top gun but i don't think it'll be gone for 5 years or so. SOB/Gun Steve-O
None of those rides are going anywhere any time soon.
fryler87
Yeah, I'm not sure why "nothing" wasn't a choice in the poll. PKI has huge area behind SOB, Racer and just due north of The Beast. Nothing is going to be removed. A lot of stuff in that park is signature to its history...I doubt they'd take something signature out. Sure, KC was signature, but as stated several times before, it was high maintenance and I suppose you could say that that spot where it sat was of somewhat high value to the park. The real question is one that I had started a topic about a while back...where will the next new area be? I think that is the more important thing for PKI to consider. I think it's the only choice they have to make a new area for a bunch of rides WAAAAY into the future. I went to Hersheypark back in 1998, and the area out by the Wildcat or whatever it's called was really undeveloped. Now they have a twin coaster out there, more flat rides (I think) and one of those roller soakers.

BoObKiNoS
For pete's sake people. Top Gun isnt going anywhere. In the 2001 season it had the 7th highest number of riders in the park. Let me think here... out lof like 50 some rides or something like that...i doubt the 7th most popular is leaving. Thats just absurd. The only reason it didnt do good in 2002 was becuase it was under one train operation for a good deal of time. And i dont know about this past year yet. I also voted other - and that other goes towards Beast too. Edited January 1, 1970 by BoObKiNoS

fryler87
Didn't Top Gun's one train get totaled in a morning-testing mainenance truck accident? I heard someone parked a truck a 'smidge' too close to the track and the train had a 'small fender bender.'

PKIDelirium
What??? It was more than a fender bender! it took over 6 months to repair the train, which including having to order new parts from S&S/Arrow/whatever the hell they are now. And the truck was totaled. Stitch
That did happen it is the reason TG ran one train last season. Employees will deny it but it did happen.

SOB/Gun Steve-O
Look if you really want to know the secrets to Top Gun - or any other ride at PKI for that matter - just come and work there. We'll tell you all the secrets - and then immediately put a gag order on you so you can't tell anybody except the other people who work there that already know about it. fryler87
Yeah...I was being sarcastic when I said 'small fender bender.' I actually heard that half the train derailed and the last three cars were totaled. I survive life through my sense of humor. If PKI had plans to get rid of Top Gun, then why would they have replaced the destroyed train in the first place? Top Gun is here to stay. I doubt much is leaving for a while. coasterrz
I sure hope they don`t take out any other rides for a while. I hope they add more because that will mean m ore rides, which will equal a greater capacity and hopefully shorter lines! I think it was the first four cars on Top Gun`s train that were totaled, not the last four. Only makes sense that it was the first four as those would be the first ones to hit something if there was an obstruction in their path.
BoddaH1994
Back on topic: I doubt any rides will be removed at all. At that, if any ride is removed (major ones, I'm talking about) it will be because of reasons similar to why KC was removed... it would cost more money to repair than it's worth. Like you guys have said, they have plenty of prime real estate for expansion, and they realize that every ride is a handful of people's "favorite ride in the world" so removing a ride is a last resort more than likely. Plus, I'm sure it's actually cheaper to simply pave a walkway to a new ride rather than going through the trouble of removing an old one and attempting to build there.
