Kings Island is not the only park getting paint on rides.

 

I really need to make it out there at some point. I've been to every park within 3½ hours of Cincinnati except that one.

Yes you do. It really is a gem of a park.  Now it is back to family-owned, it's even better.

Been wanting to go back to it. Haven't been since i was a kid but always loved it. Was always hesitant though with reports of a lot of rides being closed each day to drive that far and pay as much as it was to not get ot ride what I wanted. But sounds like it's in good hands now and they are really turning the park around. Making me want to get back even more. Need to try to get back up there this summer.

According to the owner's son and multiple employees, the loop base pieces needed to be moved about four inches on the footers.  

Anyone planning a trip there soon. I’d love some locosumo/dr.franks/fascination in my life again. 

GOCC has an event there at the end of July. I'm sure some people here will be there.
