BoddaH1994
CoasterBuzzers: Happy new year! 2005 is looking bright for CoasterBuzz Club! So far we have two events on the books. The first is our annual BeastBuzz event at Paramount's Kings Island, which will feature the new Italian Job Stunt Track. The date is June 11, 2005... mark your calendar! We're also having an event at Dorney Park to ride the fabulous looking Hydra The Revenge. We don't have a date yet, so stay tuned. Also, we finally got our new batch of membership cards from the printer (it took them just three tries to get it right). Hey, at least they have nice rounded edges now! If you signed up or renewed recently, your card is finally in the mail. That's it for now. CoasterBuzz is about to turn five years old, and I thank you for your continued support and daily visits. See you on the midways! -Jeff Source: Coasterbuzz Newsletter I suggest that all of you preregester this year and avoid the long lines of last year. PKIDelirium
Trust me, I'm going to pre reg for it this time. How soon can we do so?
Robert_Waring
Where do we pre-register at? I've never been part of this and it sounds interesting.
SOB_TOM
Dont even want to be at my house 22 miles away when Jeff is at PKI. I hate that guy.... In case you didnt know, Jeff (the guy who runs Coasterbuzz) banned me for contributing to a post in which someone posted that CP was the best park around. I posted that I liked PKIs ride lineup better, and was banned for it. Jeff is a total @$$. But thats just my opinion.
familyman
Sounds like a good time. What all is involved that day? Is there a cost?
KIBeast
I definitely want to go to Beastbuzz. I guess I'll have to get a paying membership to Coasterbuzz so I get the special rate or whatever.
BoddaH1994
Eh.... don't bother becoming a member of CB (sorry Jeff), granted you save a little bit of money on these events, but unless you go to several of them, it doesn't really pay off. I think it was just about $20 for non-members last year. You can pre-reg using the form on CB's web site (whenever it's up). For those of you who didn't attend last year, it was a BLAST. Probably one of the best times I have had at the park...ever...and I go a lot. The best part was Stevie B's ridiculously hard scavanger hunt. Word to the wise--it's Ghastly Manor, not Ghostly Manor. KIBeast
Then I plan on pre-registering ASAP. I wanted to go last year, but did not. I also would like to meet as many members from PKIC as I can. I like everyone here and would like to put a face to names.
ZosoBeast
I am with Boddah1994 on this one. I was the very first one in the park that day and maybe rode a total of 4 rides the whole time. But that day, it wasnt about riding rides. That day, I got to see parts of the park I never seen before, I met a lot of you PKICers for the first time, and I got the total honer of walking the entire parking lot....TWICE! And I wouldnt take any of it back! I am 31 years old now and have been going to the park since I was a kid, and that day was the very BEST day I ever spent in that park! EVER! If you can go, I would!!

TheKlockster
Do they do the backstage tour of Beast and SOB? That is the only thing I am really interested in. As Survivor is teaching me - I would be no good at a scavenger hunt or anything.
Great America Guy
I just may have to sign up for it this year... I've wanted to go last year, and just wasn't able to get away. I have to find someone to go with me first though.
familyman
From the form from last year you only save $4 if you’re a member and have a season pass at PKI. I would be loosing money on the deal. I think I will just pay the $20 as a PKI season pass member. Here is the link from last years form. http://www.coasterbuzz.com/pdf/beastbuzz2004.pdf
